Seems a bit too low for the amount of effort it takes to take a well guarded keep during primetime and slightly unfair for those, who were unfortunate enough not to ride the 10k+ RR tics and get RR capped :C
On contribution - what prompted the sudden change from the current system? Some technical issue or just change of the approach in general or even something else?

As for vagueness, once the system is working fully and tuned we may tell exactly what it means, but for now its everchanging so going to be vague
So less about damage and kills. I can understand encouraging capping BO's and fighting sieges. If you want the kills and damage, play SC's etc
If you were already getting kills, or in a group getting kills, that aspect was fine. Since tanks and healers tend to support those getting kills, we added more factors related to their archtype. So we're not taking away from any particular spec, just filling in some cracks.

Keep doing all the things, you'll be fine.
I appreciate the work to iron it all out. RvR is incredibly complicated to balance

Thanks for clarifying this point! Seems like a solid quality of life improvement for tanks/healers.

It was scheduled for a change since a long time, we just got around to doing it now.
And what Wargrim said is true, just that we are emphasizing on contribution to zone lock more then kills now as well as giving tanks and healers ways to fill the gap that they have been lacking.

Whenever solo healer renown gain is brought up you guys usually say you don't care about solo play and healers should get into a group to heal. Are these contributions changes along those lines and only going to help out healers in a group that's pulling kills, or will healers be gettin some contribution for healing out of group?

Also will dps healers be getting less contribution than they were prior to the change? Not trying to game the system, just wanna know how viable these playstyles are atm.

just to notice for myself... 2k rr are cap... for lets say 5h getting a zone lock ?

Well 2k Renow for maybe 2 or more hours for taking a keep will not encourage to do rvr...

exactly what i thought right now...

so 3-4h for capping or doing sc´s for like 10min for the same effect lol
