Patch Notes 15/12/2019

HOTFIX 19122019
Spoiler:
[City Siege]

* Now rewards Invader Medallions for stage 1 and 3 wins. (Temporary for testing)
* Fixed an issue where leaving or crashing a city siege would not put you back into the city queue upon re-entry to the game.
* Fixed an issue where a warlord dies while capturing an objective in stage 2.
* City Siege re-attempt time increased to 12 hours.

[Ranked Scenarios]
* Capture Time on Flag reduced to 50 seconds for both Premade and Solo Ranked Scenarios.
* Flag now grants 50 points every 6 seconds when captured, and 25 points initially (was 0/25)
* Reduced the amount of Emblems for losing both Premade and Solo Ranked Scenarios to 5. (was 10)

[City Siege]

* Fixed an issue which caused Stage 3 not to start and let people out of the barrier.
* If an instance is won it will be announced globally.
* The kings now do unique speeches at every stage
* Announcements should now be more noticable
* When Lobba Gits/Cannoneers are spawned it will be announced.
* When Lord of Change/Sun Dragon is attacking the Door it will be announced
* Sun Dragon/Lord of Change now only require 3 seconds per person to summon down from 15.
* The Palace Door will now announce every 30 seconds its health percentage if it is under attack.
* Fix for Stage 1 where the Cannons/Catapults/Sun Dragon/Lord of Change wouldn't attack the door.
* People can now access their city through the portal whilst it is recovering.
HOTFIX 17122019

[City Siege]

* Fixed an issue where a hero player who left the City Siege would leave the lord unattackable.
* We now teleport hero players outside of the spawn in Stage 3 by default. Defend them with your life!
* Hero players are now announced at the beginning of a round.
* Fixed an issue with disappearing barriers in Stage 3.
* Fixed an issue with a specific enemy faction type that prevented interaction.
* Sun Dragon should now take 3 seconds to capture.
* Kings will now only attack other kings.
* Prevent Catapults from being attacked by anything.
* We now remove an entire Warband from City Siege queue when players join a Warband.
* Fixed an issue where NPCs would not battle each other in Stage 3.

[Ranked Scenarios]

-We now allow for changing morales equipped while in a queue for, or in, a Solo Ranked Scenario.
-We now allow for changing tactics equipped while in a queue for, or in, a Solo Ranked Scenario, with the exception of Divine Fury and Focused Assault.
-We now allow for changing equipment worn while in a queue for, or in, a Solo Ranked Scenario, with the exception of classes that are capable of being either a Tank or Healer Archetype.
-The Solo Ranked matchmaker will now check equipment instead of mastery for Disciple of Khaine and Warrior Priest.
-A bug with the matchmaker that would enqueue a pending Solo Ranked Scenario and a Standard or City Scenario which would invalidate the Solo Ranked Scenario pop has been fixed.
-We now allow surrendering in Solo Ranked 6v6 scenarios after 5 minutes.
-Caledor Woods (Both) - Now grants 10 emblems for a loss, and 25 for a win (Temporary). Increased renown gain moderately for both scenarios.
-Caledor Woods (Solo Ranked) - Increased the renown awarded for this scenario. (Temporary).
-Caledor Woods (Premade Ranked) - The flag in this scenario now grants 50 points over time.
-Caledor Woods (Premade Ranked) - The match timer has been increased to 15 minutes (was 10 minutes as of last patch)

[RvR]

- Fixed Issues with new greenskin and dwarf fortress lord mechanics not working.
- Fixed something that caused keep lords to go on vacations.

[City Siege Test Today]

Check out this post

[General]

- Fixed an issue with partyframes getting stuck at distant and not updating that properly.
- You should now be able to see group members on the map in different zones.

[Ranked Scenarios]

- Made the flag cap in Caledor Woods (both Ranked versions) grant 25 points and removed the point gain over time.
- Reduced match duration in Caledor Woods (both Ranked versions) to 10 minutes.
- While queued for, or awaiting joining a Solo Ranked Scenario, you are no longer able to adjust your tactics, morales, or equipment for the duration of the queue or scenario pop.
- While in a Solo Ranked Scenario, you are no longer able to adjust your tactics, morales, or equipment for the duration of the scenario.
- Changed the way Solo Ranked Scenarios matchmake players. They now consider various factors about your gear, equipment, morale, and tactics to determine you as either DPS, Heals or Tank based on your investment towards being a Healer, Tank or DPS.
- You are now able to see and queue for the Solo Ranked Scenario while in a group of 6 players or less. Queueing up for a Solo Ranked Scenario in a Warband will still not be possible.

* Thank you for those whom have queued for the ranked system thus far. We have made the adjustments above due to your feedback in public and private channels. We will be working on the Ranked Rewards system soon - which will include two armor sets and weapons on par with Darkpromise gear. Stay tuned.

[Combat]

-Chance to crit and chance to defend is now calculated using more precise floating point math, which means smaller gains of initiative, weaponskill, etc; will now work as intended as opposed to removing decimals.

[Fortress]

- Dwarf and Greenskin fortress lord mechanics have been redone.
- Fixed missing aggro mechanics on some lords.
- attempted to fix issue where players are not added internally to the fort in the right way.
- increased SOR timer from stage 1 to 2 to match ingame better.
- fixed an issue where the second lock of a fort for the same realm would not make bags be generated.
- domination check improved.

[Keep]

- Keep lords should not engage players who accidentally AOE him before inner is down. Though someone going too close will still be engaged.

[World]

- Quest Givers and basic gear merchants for each chapter are separate NPCs now.

[Quests]

- Defiler: This quest is now available at the Sigmar Shrine in Reikland
- The Inevitable Eye: Whole quest line is now available and reworked
- Reikland Burning: Whole quest line is now available and reworked
- Heart of Strength: You will now have to capture Wilfred the Crusader using the Summoning Rod, then to kill him for the last part of this quest line
- Rule of Three: The quest rewards have been set
- Crushing Stone: The quest rewards have been set
- A Simple Request: The first part of this quest line has been reviewed
- Dyn-o-mite: This quest is now available from the Forgotten Box in Reikland
- Press the Attack: This quest has been corrected and reworked

[Tickets]

[12623] The quest is now completable and the quest marker has been set

Something could detail the current avoidance / strikethrough mechanic ?

% avoidance is decreased by attacker main stat ?
i.e. parry decreased by attackers strength
only parry from ws or ws + items... tactic ? dual wielding ?

Hello,

Since the last patch I'm not able to login anymore, because of a corrupted file.
I have tried to delete interface.myp, without success, exactly the same message during the download.
Any help is welcome.

Not being able to change morales/tactics/equipment/respec in solo ranked is a terrible change. You need to adjust your equipment/tactics and morales depending on who your enemies are and your allies. You don't want double demo on tanks; you could have more defensive/offensive gear on dps, armor/wp gear sets for healers, etc etc.

I'm having the same experience as @sancra (can't log in due to bad file signature).

Okay, fixed for me by (since I'm under linux) running WINE in debug mode.
