Check the rewards in-game by visiting the Event Herald or event quest giver. There won't be one posted here since it's clear in-game.

Live events (and other events) are totally unrelated to what needs to be changed as balance and QoL improvements. Now if you're really upset feel free to protest and not participate in the event, it'll leave a room for other players who appreciate the event.

With a limited time from volunteers, on what is considered by many a holiday weekend its not surprising that they focused on what they focused on. Next you'll be wanting your money back.
