Weekend Warfront: Assault on Black Crag

Karak Drazh was once among the mightiest Dwarf strongholds of the World Edge Mountains, but was taken by the Greenskins during the Goblin Wars. Strategically placed at the western end of Death Pass, it guards the approach to Karak Eight Peaks. Today known as Black Crag, it is the most powerful Orc stronghold.

This weekend Assault on Black Crag will be the weekend warfront from 12:00 on Friday to 12:00 on Monday Altdorf time. You get +50% XP and Renown in the Black Crag Keep scenario, and extra rewards from completing the event tasks.



Realm versus Realm

Open World Campaign

- State of Realm has been switched to give an estimate of number of players in the RvR lake instead of exact number or no number. Instead it will say the following labels depending on amount of players:
• 0-9: Scouts
• 10-24: Parties
• 25-99: Warbands
• 100-199: Vanguard
• 200-299: Battlehost
• 300+: Warhost

- The contribution in forts has been tweaked a bit.

Bug Fixes

- Horned Squig once again has reduced cast time and cooldown and is castable on the move while in squig armor.

- Gas Squig’s Spore Cloud will no longer display negative damage value in the combat log.

- Sneaky Git : This tactic will correctly display the defenses buff in the paper doll.

- Not So Fast : Fixed an issue preventing player to use it at level 21.

- Tastes Like Stunties : This ability animation won't freeze anymore.

- Shootin’ Quicka : This tactic won’t reduce your pet AA anymore.

- Scramblin’ Quick-Like : This tactic won’t reduce your pet movement speed anymore.

- Sneaky Git : This tactic won’t remove your squig armor when unsloted anymore.

Balance Changes

- The Gas Squig will now increase range by 15 feet instead of 10%. *Note : the tooltip correctly says 15 feet but buffline still says 15% and will be corrected with next patch.

- FInish ‘Em Off : This ability can now be obtained 9 steps into the Path of Big Shootin'. The range of this ability has been restored to 100 feet.

- Poison Arrer : This ability can now be obtained 13 steps into the Path of Big Shootin'.

- Explodin’ Arrer : This ability can now be obtained 5 steps into the Path of Big Shootin'. This ability is no longer a ground target ability and has 2 seconds cast time.

- Extra Toxic Arrer : In addition of the current effect , this tactic will also add a backloaded damage that will trigger damage if the target goes below 25% Health.

- Not So Fast : This ability can now be obtained 5 steps into the Path of Quick Shootin'. The range of this ability has been lowered to 65 feet, and it can be casted on the move. The initiative debuff has been removed from it.

- Red Tipped Arrer : This ability can now be obtained 13 steps into the Path of Quick Shootin'. In addition of the current effect , the ability will remove a damage absorbing effect from the target , and will deal damage every time it successfully remove it.

- Run Away! : This ability moved to Quick Shootin’ Core Abilities and is obtainable at level 21.

- Yer Bleedin’ : This ability duration has been reduced to 10 seconds , the tick interval are reduced to 2 seconds , and it will additionally debuff initiative. A 5 seconds cooldown has been added to the ability.

- The cost for renown respeccing has been removed.


Quests

Greenskin Chapter 8
- Quid the Ugly: This quest is now available from the Salty Beard Barrel in Barak Varr

Greenskin Chapter 9
- Findin' Da Boyz: Stormhoof Gor Raiders will now also count toward the objective of the first step, and you will now have to collect the Bones of Da Boyz for the second step. The quest rewards have also been added
- Slayer Slayer: Slayer Rumguards will now also count toward the quest, and you will now have to collect the Gold Stunty Choppa from the Stunty Chest

- Armory tome unlocks and titles have been added for the Beastlord, Onslaught, Victorious & Triumphant armor sets

- Vanquisher & Oppressor boots and gloves are now bind on equip, just like the sets below it.

- Added tome unlocks for Subjugator, Fortress and Doomsday weapons

- Added triggers for tome unlocks for Glory, Reverence, Tyranny & Anathema weapons

Having a hard time trying to understand what it is that you want to make out of QS.
Would be nice if the balance team could give an explanation to the changes.

Few good changes for the SH, ranged finisher back at 100 ft, Not So Fast castable on the move, Gas Squig and Run Away core. Props.

If I'm being honest, it might be a bit too strong...but we'll just have to see.

BoE Vanquisher Gloves/Boots is something I've wanted for so long (especially since Vanquisher Medallions cant be traded up so you end up with a lot extras).

Dot cast time didn’t changed ?
5s cooldown is quite a lot when going 'round covering health debuff on multiple targets. Basically forces rSHs into ST playstyle even more.
