Seems like someone was killed in the lakes by t2 looking toon. Also, if alt appearances are going to be visible for same realm only can we get back shoulder, gloves and helm pieces with opposing realm skins? They were removed under pretence that "players got confused in the lakes" :roll:

+1. This is my critique as well.

This change may make lightly escorted rams more vulnerable but the general procedure for organized zone pushes is "Everyone to keep to escort ram" followed by a zerg to door move. I would be surprised if anyone risks suicide attacking the zerg in transit since it will likely put them in a position to be blockaded from the keep (with some exceptions based on keep/wc placement).

If anything it will stagnate some of the action in less organized times when you get an "adventurous" ram spawn that moves to the keep and starts the attack while everyone else is doing random stuff. Once it is on the door it tends to focus people. But that requires a disorganized enemy as well and seeing the ram on the map will probably catalyze a response from the enemy before it does one from the friendlies.

Anyway, just my $0.02 prognostication. See what happen happens in the field.

Well said.
Also, will be very difficult to pull off ninja missions or better coordinated sieges across the realm.
It might impact the gameplay a bit more than we want.
It can still be reversed though, I hope :))

squish ram? after one minute siege aborted and all teleport to other zone for same times? Mb need repear ablity for heal ram and damage if u wanna take ram low hp.

I doubt it would be an improvement worth the sacrifice. Imho the biggest hit to performance is the skill/spell animations and any associated memory leaks, not a few extra skulls or someone making their gear look like a T1 character.

Pull this or that texture to show. I can't see how could it affect performance

i think side effect will be fixed after they accomplish what they want.

Well if it helps performance, cool.

Stage2 NPCs and Ram on map:
I dont personally think this will help anything but firsttimers to know what is going on, and i doubt it will promote more clashes in the open(oRvR) but lets see. Thanks for experimenting and being open for testing what is a good and what is a bad change.

Really nice quality of life stuff in here.
Would be LOVELY if we could get shift+LMB click on chat to show who the person is, like it was on Live!
The delay was set to 2 sec, fixed it to 1 sec like tooltip says

I doubt if it affects performance. It doesn't matter if it does anyway. This is not a job, this is a game. A major part in games is aesthetics and individual player statements on them. If there are people who wish to erase such an approach, by all means give em an option to tick a box and view the game as a bunch of stick figures fighting each-other on a 2d checkered terrain.
