The best TTK fix would be revert of nerf to AoE HD for dps RP/Zealot.

And dps dok? at least from DD abilities (remove procs from dots)

No, not really.
DPS DoK was heavily outperforming in smallscale. There is no reason for ST DPS to have AoE HD proc, like there is no reason for AoE DPS (RP/Z) to have ST HD proc.

No, not really.
DPS DoK was heavily outperforming in smallscale. There is no reason for ST DPS to have AoE HD proc, like there is no reason for AoE DPS (RP/Z) to have ST HD proc.
with HD proccing from dot crits maybe...but its a difference between tune it down and nerfing totally....if only procs from dd its already a nerf but still remain some aoe utility. Right now dok pays a really high tax for his HD (11 points ability + tactic slot) for a HD that is not much better than other ones (some aspects are better and some worse) that costs much less...for example WP HD is 5 point in tree and dont need to waste 1 tactic slot...

Very unfair comparison. Every 2h WP would like to be DW DoK.

Very unfair comparison. Every 2h WP would like to be DW DoK.
We are talking about HD, and used WP as example...

on a side note: every chalice DoK would love to be a book WP

Either that, or looking at Distracting Bellow M2 from Tank archtypes.
The fact that stage3 at 16minut mark in high end instances are all decited around a tank mitigation morale rotations speaks value. I know they changed the timer, but still 50% aoe mitigation morale makes noone able to kill anything. and since its on the m2 slot, with several tanks having pumps either internally or can get it externally this effect is pretty much up perma in case of an organized force on discord and a person assigned to call out each party to use bellows every 10sec.

funny how aoe morale bombs were not as much of a thing on live, because the normal ability damage were higher (old caster Closequaters tactic) morale natural tick rate was higher 36 or so per sec. And the morale minigame was more based around getting the +armor+defence stat morales out, instead of these inflated flat damage morales.

TTK adjustments via armor talis, is a bit of an odd way to tackle the issue. so it seems to be that the real goal with this adjustment was to break up the talis meta abit, while lowering pug vs premade immortality.

Armor talis are meta because MPDS are meta...no ones seems to bother about why mdps are meta...

Is really a good idea balancing the game around a city stage with a heavy pve component?
if stage 3 is a problem is better redesign the mechanic or making balance changes to core mechanics on the whole game?

Was it even the intention of the devs to lower the TTK of light/medium armor classes? Im pretty sure it was just to bring armor talismans in line with stat talismans?


The problem with warhammer lies in the drastic difference in experience for players who arent playing in a proper group in regard to ttk. A proper group has 2 tanks that can guard, challenge, drop morales, 2 healers that bring a number of powerful buffs (RP and Z are currently the most OP classes in the game atm), and having 2 healers means you group doesnt go down the shitter when 1 of them is under attack, and the TTK in small scale 6v6 environment is WAY too long and 2 good groups fighting each other are only going to score a kill with morales or extremely good execution and CC. But flip that on its head and have a good 6 man fighting pugs and the TTK is like 3 seconds, people just get obliterated bc they might be taking something like 70% or more dmg than a target in a functional group.

It's also why cities are so horrible for pugs when they go up against even a 12 man.

Balance on this game TTK went out the window when they went overboard with the CC patch and introduced the most draconic measures in any MMO i've ever seen for CC, coming from the studio who made the most insane game ever for CC (DAOC). Bringing back aoe HD would be nice, but ppl complain about the fact that every WB would need a dps RP/Z, like there isnt already extremely hard restrictions on group makeup already.

I used to play midgard and the aoe stun bombs was too much fun haha

Bringing back aoe HD will be another nail on the PUG vs premade...but the gap between these 2 playstyles willbe always there and should be, why ppl will bother to organize then?
