RoR's 7th Anniversary

On the 10th of June, we've celebrated Return of Reckoning's 7 year anniversary with X2 Experience, Renown and Influence. The event has ended.

We have several plans that we hope to execute and deliver this year, including the already-announced Hunter's Vale and Ranked Season 2. We will also be having a Q&A soon to tackle all your concerns and questions; The bank of questions and the details about that Q&A will be shared later on.

Thank you for playing on Return of Reckoning and for keeping your trust in our team. We understand that sometimes our opinions and thoughts do not align with your expectations, but rest assured that we always aim to preserve the general wellbeing of the server and its community.

Weekend Warfront: Factory of War

Image

The Reikland Factory is one of the most important manufacturers of arms and ammunition for the armies of the empire. Without it they will be forced to fight with sword and shield alone!

Take the Warehouse and the Machine Shop for your realm! Carve a bloody swath of destruction through your enemies and emerge victorious from the Steamtank Plant!


This weekend Factory of War will be the weekend warfront from 12:00 on Friday to 12:00 on Monday Altdorf time. You get +50% XP and Renown in the Reikland Factory scenario, and extra rewards from completing the event tasks.

Ranked Scenarios

- There's now a limit on the average MMR between teams in ranked group matches. Currently it is set to 600, but the exact number is subject to change.



User Interface

- Added a server side ability sequencer with no conditionals support. The user interface is still a work in progress, but a first version of it can be downloaded as the Sequencer addon.

NPCs

- Runki Keymaster is now patrolling on the walls of Und-a-Runki fort
- Lucky Git is now patrolling Gutbash Ogre camp

Quests

Greenskin Chapter 17
- Weapon of Mass Confusion: You now receive Grengul's Fungus Brew upon accepting the quest to poison the mushroomzz
- Helpin da Humies: The quest rewards have been added
- Kupgup's Anvil: You will now have to collect the different items Kupgup wants for his anvil, and the quest rewards are given at the end of the quest line
- Shaman Double: The whole quest line is now available and reworked
- Lob In: Groog's Lobba can now be used to lob yourself over the walls of Und-a-Runki
- Lucky Stones: You will now have to take the Lucky Stone from the Lucky Git, then sell it to Rikkit



Tickets

[18993] Guards are now back in the scenario Mourkain Temple
[18839] You now receive the Chains that you need to use on the Und-a-Runki Blacksmiths to capture one
[14260] The quest is now working as intended or almost

That was quick! Nicely done :). Hopefully that will satisfy a fair few issues people had with the removal of NB.

Will the API for the sequencer be put anywhere as a reference in case others want to incorporate it into their addons without needing to pull apart the existing addon?

And before people ask: yes there are still unpatched NB work-arounds, yes the devs have been notified of them, and no Sciber I will not send them to you.

Well, this is in preparation for adding more/better rewards to that game mode.

Until now the top groups on both order and destro are undefeated, so they never played against each other. With better rewards we don't want it to just be top MMR teams farming low MMR teams for rewards.

Any ETA on when we can expect pet pathing to be fixed? or any chance of rolling back the "pet fixes" from the 08/05/2021 patch? which didn't exactly fix anything, it just broke 4 classes and their mechanic.

Nice OoL added with the sequencer.


This is important, I haven't been able to roam on my herder decently for a month. Pet classes are currently broken. We understand that pathing is a work in progress, but can we revert changes until there is an improved version? in really sucks not been able to control your own pet ...
