Lotd need something to keep players on rvr .. if not rvr will die just like live.

When LotD was open (and likely here too), the main campaign screeched to a halt since the guilds who drive it were off farming LotD.

First iteration got no PvE component (no dungeon but it will come later), and apparently no PQ either.
Just endless roaming with zerg or small groups, without much contribution for capping flags (over 2000 victory points, 1800 were from kills).
It will need much more intricate and interesting mechanics to be implemented, its very bland at the moment.
The zone is very nicely done nonetheless, too bad undergrounds are currently unused.
We can hope more interations from this starting point, but in this current state it's clearly not a good challenger to other activities (RvR especially).

Wasn't player numbers limited too during live lotd warcamp siege? That not all people can enter lotd and have to remain in rvr anyway.
Dying is no option.

I guess that should follow common logic, sadly population does not act logically. Cities are the same, you would expect RvR going on for people who cant make into city, but it comes to a halt there too.

It was a pq with limited bags but only gave conq so at that point not to many ppl cared anyway. World boss, minor tombs, and tovl where what ppl were farming. Also i agree with Aeth lotd dead tug of war buried my server pragg since it became empty zones farming till lotd flipped and then shift change.

Siege weapons on the battle objectives that can dismount entire warbands would be good. Might have to alter the single target cannons to inflict AOE dmg because the current aoe cannons are notoriously hard to aim with, since they can sometimes fire through walls and don't always let you see where you are aiming.
