Crash to Desktop

Good day everyone,

I've been searching the forums trying to find out if there is a solution to crashes to desktop. So far as I can tell, it occurs anytime I cross into a new part of a zone. So for example, I can spawn into a camp somewhere but as soon as I cross a boundary and a new zone name appears on the screen I instantly crash to desktop. This has been preventing me from playing for several months now but I'm only bringing it up now because I basically don't have any games I want to play at the moment except for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
