Why do we hear chickens sounds after a scenario finishes?

Every scenario, win loose we hear it, why is this?

Because someone is still attacking after the scenario has ended and they turn into a chicken for doing so.

I never knew that. Does that apply to every sc or just MT where we hear the sounds? Thanks.
