Complete RVR Kill Quest

Hi guys,
Can you complete RVR quests like "Hunting Down Orcs!" in T1 if you are a chicken and a part of a group or party?
Do the kills count towards the completion of the quest?
I'm lvl 14 and with this double exp... I'm going to hit lvl 16 before I'm done and I really don't want to create a new character.
