Loss of War Crests but massive increase in blue tokens and im not the only one

So I read this sticky viewtopic.php?t=53904 and I believe it means that I cannot get back lost currency. Maybe I am wrong but searching missing crests didn't bring up anything but 30 threads with those key words not attached.

I noticed several people in chat talking about how they lost a very large amount of crests. One guy had over 1500 and is now down to 50 and several others had lost varying amounts. I checked my main character and sure enough I had been affected as well.

I used PQs to get armor for ward unlocks and saved my war crests for the more expensive PvP armors like conqueror and higher. I had over 900 crests and was reduced to 113 now back up to 165 after a successful fort take. I also had used all my tokens to buy armor and pots so I practically had no blue tokens, but now I have like 700 blue tokens.

I have no idea when the problem happened as I have been playing off and on for months now. This was the only method I knew to be able to catch up with the rest of the server veterans. I'm kinda at a loss here. Any ideas? I'm doing the best I can to compete with the older players but now I cant even buy the armor I need. I dont have another 6 months to regrind these tokens

I lost a full stack of 9999 a few months ago back when they had a roll back issue. I'm fortunate that I have all the gear i can buy with them anyway so the loss wasn't game breaking for me but I do feel for others, it's a massive grind for sure, hope you can get it resolved

I have a sneaky suspicion that I and the others are screwed. I really don't want to play anymore. The fear of losing all that hard work again is too much. They need to tone down the requirements. There is just no way to compete with the veterans even with being boosted, especially now that so many have taken a break with not liking the new class adjustments. Once I was in high 50s gear I noticed a huge difference in survivability in RvR. Scenarios are still impossible and I don't even try to queue for them anymore.

I had an issue for a while that my bags cut off the last digit of my currencies. I found sorting by list view would give the correct 4 digit number. I had to do this for display and when purchasing. Was going on for months.
