First segment Recruit's Ward problem

Hello I have a problem with the recruit's Ward.
I did get the full yellow protector set and equipped it but i did not unlock the recruit's ward.

For the 1st segment I equipped the protector boots, and it's crosscheck in the book of knowledge missions of the 1st segment. But the segment is still dark and the ward is still lock.
I have the second segment in clear grey so i guess it's unlock, with protector chest crosscheck and hunter chest crosscheck in the missions.

Am I missing something ?

Update : I did some public quests to be able to buy "boots of carnage" with the war token, which are also part of the missions to get the 1st fragment and it worked, I unlocked the recruit's ward.

So I think the protector set, even though it's part of the missions in the knowledge book, does not validate the conditions to get the recruit's ward.

I guess it's a bug ?
