Personally I prefer magus for the dps zeal duo but dps shaman is also really good. With shaman its quite easy going since either one of you can just heal the other but what I like with magus is the amount of cc and dmg they bring

Anything that involves a (good) Magus in roaming is toxic, class is just broken . On my Lion back in the days i would swallow shamans for dinner, zeal i still consider pray( no offence ).

Magus i avoided a head on charge with the regen/disk/kite/silly class. Since then, devs buffed them further ( this game solo balance is doomed).

I still think WL is one of the (if not) the worst match ups for zealot. I think its gotten a bit easier due to the zeal buffs and maybe the fact that most wls seem to run some sort of regen build these days.. but a good full dmg wl can definitely just pop zealots in the opener.

True, WLs' burst combo is insane. On my zeal i sit at 9.1k HP unbuffed, -2.5% CTBC (yeah, negative), yet if dont counter WLs burst with defensives (get ninja jumped or simply have those on CDs) - in 8 out 10 cases i either dont survive the KD or, if I do, I'm at ~1-1.5k HP after KD, which makes recovery highly improbable (not impossible, still potentially realistic, just very low chances of success).

However, the worst matchup for a zeal, IMO, is an AM who always keeps his cleanse on CD and knows that a zeal will inevitably lose the AP race & has Ishas Encouragement slotted. Simply not a chance against those AMs. Luckily IE AMs are relatively rare, Rioz is the only one who runs IE on the constant basis AFAIK, those who dont (yet still cleanse) - well, a tough fight but winnable. Those who dont cleanse at all tho and think they will out-DPS a zeal - free frag lol ;p

I would rank dps AM also very high probably shared 1st spot for the "worst matchups" for zeal. In my experiences AM is in a similar spot as a WL but other way around, while I find full dmg WL harder than the regen ones. When it comes to AM I think more tankier spec as you mentioned Rioz for example gives more trouble for zeal than full dmg dps AM.

Ofcourse things are situational in almost all cases but those are my experiences, I havent fought all the dps am or lions out there so maybe its incorrect just my own experiences
