Regarding effects, I like to see them whenever game simply allows me to see them without causing permafreeze or certain lagdeath, usually have to turn them off at keeps. I was too lazy to edit out the part where just before next keep fight I drop my graphics settings because I felt intense lag at hand, though first fight was still possible on "Balanced" without me lagging to death. (most likely has something to do with Keep Lord, but outer yard fighting is less demanding FPS-wise than inside keep fighting)
As for names, how would be know how to focus all the important people if we didn't see their names? Always gotta go for Hellokittyonline and so on.
Sure, it might not look "clean", but knowing to focus the actual warband players over random pugs who think they are helping, IMO quite important.

Re: Ruining Some PvEDooring - TUP WB video (Praag)
fine, I'll test without name/guild tags for Wed raid
It will probably reduce the chance of me sniping my favourite targets.
I understand if you prefer "cleaner" screen, but IMO still as a dps player you of all people know that knowing certain player names can be very vital for the battle effort.
Gotta start preparing 20 different Enemy markers though...

You're in a bombing wb, not a 6man gank party. Who cares about targets, you go where your leader goes and things die there. Imo there's no huge point in focusing certain players or whatever. As Hao said, just mark a couple you think are important and that's it. You don't need 20 ffs xD

Why bother? Just keep it how you like it man. People don't need to watch the vids. I'll watch it twice to make up the numbersAurandilaz wrote:fine, I'll test without name/guild tags for Wed raid

I agree, if having the UI helps you or you prefer it, do it how you like. Only time I ever removed was the quest tracker for rvr kills..
First RR90 Slayer working towards the top of the mountain.I still solo, still run riposte.
