Sad but true.
Why do people get outraged at automation in a computer game????
Then why do they use cars, computers, aeroplanes, the Internet, etc. in their everyday lives?
After all, you can go to work on horseback, look for information in old books, use abacuses for counting, get treatment from a witch doctor. Why do you not do that?
Addons are just another stage in the game. I will say more: ONLY ADDONS allow you to use 100% of your character's power. I'm not interested in using 80-90% of the potential, but 100%.
Using addons is an evolution which some cavemen can't understand. Zerg players have a tactic of playing bombs, bombs, morale drop, bombs, bombs and they don't need any addons. All the rest who want something more unfortunately do.

addons its not drugs
addons use WAR API
The WAR API is a set of functions, that allow you to modify the Warhammer Online Interface through the use of addons and macros.
WAR API is set of functions ALREADY present in ANY WHO-RoR game client! Its dont syringe with injection of 3rd side functions which give advantage and broke game.
Everyone can use it, "almost everyone" can program it and create macro or addon.
Why u use alarm clock in smartphone - use ur own sense of time and wake up by biological clocks, u can do it!
So why you want change good for simple? Play MUD then, type /enter room, /turn left etc.

By the way, what we have for alternatives if RoR server die under pressure of "pure classic interface" and game-for-not-many-but-only-tru-skillah-players? WoW with full CurseForge of addons? Nice exchange!

Ok, than doping without drugs but with selfblood, also not allowed :)

The Warhammer api was createt back when the original server was live. As we all now, this didn't went well! This server is under another administration (better in my opinion, to be clear!).

The Devteam define what is allowed and what not, they say NB is not allowed, it just used the api as well. But it opens up the question why other addons that have the same benefit of automate decisions based on the condition of your groupmember. This is also the reason why comparing it to swift assist is bullshit.

One click auto guard most hurt player without having to look through your group to see who needs it ... but NB was bad right? hehehehehe

Exactly the problem I and many other have. I don't want all addons banned, i'm not even giving a flying ... duck ... if these addons are banned or not, what bothers me is the double standard.

I don't want to ban the game, I love this game, if I could I would think about removing some people from the game and get others back, but the game itself is pretty fine

Never said the API is ilegal, it's pretty fine to have a lot of addons giving you better UI options because the standard UI is ... let's say not the best... (but far better then DOS games, just to be clear)
