Hi there. The skill says "when hit". Does successfully blocking/parrying/dodging/disrupting count as being hit?
Second question: Does this skill have any internal cooldown?
If the answer is yes/no I am excited to try to make a super-tank Black Orc

Re: [Black Orc] Da Greenest - How does it work
Well, i don't know exactly about the mechanics of da greenest but there's no real reason to use it except you're retreating and can't hit anything while doing so.
First you have your armor pots (and a selfbuff btw.) not stacking with it. Second you have enough armor anyways that will be bypassed by nearly anything... 135% or 145% physical reduction doesn't change anything vs. mdps ignoring all or most of your armor.
Third your resists should be good enough, in doubt wear winds impervous set. Also not stacking with chosen/shami resists afaik...
You'd be a better Tank with your statsteal up... 75-120 initiative alone (with armor pots/resist buffs) will make you tankier than da greenest could ever make you.
I think it's ok to use it when there's no sham/chosen around and your grp wants to save armor pots (?)... but the initiative from your statsteal alone is better than anything else.

Re: [Black Orc] Da Greenest - How does it work
As far as I know it procs even when the damage is negated.
Don't think that there is an internal CD, you can use it to spam Loudmouth pretty quick and kind of focus a target down (just a funny little thing you can do with Da greenest )

You have to invest high into the Boss-Tree to make it useful.Wiede wrote: ↑Thu Feb 21, 2019 2:14 pm (…)

If you go for Waaaaaaagh!(13pt) your Da greenest will buff 940Armor and 329 resi. (at 40)
Most People run a 660armor-pot or (as seen in many pug-wbs) none at all. In this case you will increaes their armor by a notable amount, and counter most armor-/resi debuffs.
Not sure about the values of Chosen-aura, but iirc it's around 260(?, don't have one, so can't check) ,and not all run this aura, too. The sham's one is around 240.
Sure, they don't stack, but basically Da Greenest is the highest Group-buff for armor and resi.
It's true that most mdps have strong tools to reduce your armor, but you can soften the effect of those skills with a good amount of extra armor. Even if you, as a tank, are on or beyond the softcap, some members of your grp probably won't. Afterall you buff your whole grp by just standing around and soaking dmg.
Usally the armor-buff has almost 100% uptime in fights, as it's self-refreshing (doesn't have to run out, to be aplied again). It's almost like an aura or casted buff.
You shouldn't stick to just one bellow anyway. As long as there is nothing to hit nearby run DaGreenest. Great while charging the enemy, usually it will proc bevor you reach them. If the buff is up and you are in melee range, switch to DaBiggest and dish out some aoe to make it proc as much as you can. From there on it depends on the fight, if your grp has the momentum to push stick with DaBiggest, but if your grp takes hard Damage or your healer are struggeling, switch to DaGreenest and buff the defense. Bear in mind that it has a 10sec CD on switching bellows.
It's also useful, when you can't engage in melee, e.g. Keep sieges or defending a BO, etc.
Combine it with "Stop hittin' da Runts" from the Toughest-tree to have almost infinite ap to spam HTL or CHM.
It's not that bad as a lot of People try to make it look, especially as the Boss-tree is often used, due to the CD-decrease on Waaaaaaagh!

Re: [Black Orc] Da Greenest - How does it work
Indeed it's a strong buff on paper... but 300 armor and 100 resists for not using/lesser using statsteal? Naaah.
And spending 55ap for changing bellows is a heavy investment.

Re: [Black Orc] Da Greenest - How does it work
Thank you guys, especially Gangan, that's exactly what I wanted to do. Have infinite AP from it procing a lot to channel those spells
Re: [Black Orc] Da Greenest - How does it work
Your welcome ^^
The infinite ap works also with the other two bellows, but as you require to hit something you can't channel HTL, CHM (can't hit me) on the other side works great with all bellows.
Just try different builds and test. Sooner or later you will find what suit your style
