I’d take a premade vs premade scene over the mindless pug shitfest any day of the week.

The game is team orientated where the best results are obtained by forming groups together with friends or at least with other people who know what their role in a group is. If the player is more solo orientated, has limited time to give to the game or if they refuse to group up they should look at other classes more suited to that playstyle since BO/Choppa do not perform well solo.

Yes the game is more fun when the fight is competitive, it doesnt even have to be premade vs premade. Does that really need to be said?

If you base what you play on your fight where you are getting stomped a healer or rdps is going to allow you to do something while running away. But it doesnt bring you any closer to a win.

Choppa and Black Orcs are both fine classes if you are ok with the nature of being a melee. You have to be able to sift through the BS. Everyone likes to spout off about their opinions, but lots of people have lots of terrible opinions.

Yes it does need to be said since a lot of people here as well as in game think the RoR should be catered towards just jumping in and playing however they like, especially new players; solo or otherwise. It’s a damn shame the majority of the player base lack the time and/or the motivation to make the game more fun for themselves.

I think everyone knows an evenish match is more fun than one side rolling over the other. Pugging doesnt prevent that it just makes it just leaves it up to chance.

Forming a premade doesnt make that more likely it just means you are going to be doing the rolling. Unless you are going for the 6v6 scenario, but 6v6 was never how the game was designed to be played. With the exception of a ToVL invasion.

You're not gonna have a premade while lvling up 99% of the time and finding a group in lower tiers of the game is much-much harder and time consuming then in late game so having classes that totally depend on having a good group and good gear in lower ranks while other is compltely manageble puging in green renown gear sends some wierd signals about the peformance of the classes. Just saying that finding a group is more fun and will fix your problems to a lvl 21 isn't helpfull and isn't true.

Its not shame its just age. Now most of AoR veterans have wifes, kids or even grand kids, so there is just significaly less time to play. I would really like to be part of stable premade 6 man or 24man, but I play in random times with random afks(agro from kids or wife) which would nothing more than iritate my team mates and they will endup finding another person with more and stable game time than me.

Absolutely true for all classes and an argument for bringing back lower tiers some would say.

It sends no weird signals whatsoever: if you make that conscious decision at the Character Creation screen of making a class that is more dependent upon having X, Y and Z in order to excel, then you should be prepared to get your fair share of cuts and bruises when some of those elements are missing. If you don't want to play with other people, then there are quite a lot of other classes that are better suited for you: in this case, a DPS BO would be better suited to you if you want a more sturdy, yet offensive, Ork brawler.

Also, the notion that it is hard to form groups when you are leveling is complete and utter tosh: I leveled a Slayer up with the help of guildies (and randoms that I met along the way, who I forged friendships with), and was very rarely on my own (same also applies to other guildies who I have seen level up and gather their gear with the help of others). If you are leveling, then there is a very high chance that there will be other people leveling alongside you!: make friendships on your journey to 40, ask your guildies to level toons with you, etc.

Stop insisting on being that edgy, self-deprecating & emo solo Choppa: the one where 'noone understands where I'm coming from', where you simply have to be different to everyone else; it's cringe, and disingenuous. You're playing a MMO, so why not try socialising every blue moon.

You won't be in a group all the time, but you can definitely capitalise as a Choppa on those moments that you are. There also happens to be an abundance of RR80+ solo/suicidal Choppas, which leads me to believe that the journey to 40 is not as arduous as it is being made out to be.

Edit: Above is not wholly aimed at you, roadkill.
