Re: Shaman/AM nerf?

I think we have to wait until the stupid meta proc to end and see if AM/Shaman are really bad or not. I think AM is ok, but Shaman is less usefull because others classes already have what he can offer.

And again... please stop making comparaisons between AM's Morale pump and Shaman's one and cry about it. Try to look at the entire faction capacity and you will see that's not a problem at all.

In fact AM's best options to morale pump with effectiveness is to cast groupheal or EoV. But the meta is about heavy mouvements fights to dodge roll face AoE proc damages situations or chase people to roll face AoE proc damages them without the EoV casting on mouvement and a lot of snare/root immuns in a need to cast direct heal crit to proc the tactic. So the morale pump uptime is quite bad at the moment.

But yeah, Shaman's morale pump is not as good as AM's morale pump. Is it a problem ? No (faction wide), but if it were the case, yes (faction wide again).

There is no comparison between AM and Shaman morale pump. One is vastly superior. So in a sense you are correct to complain about people comparing them.

Well shaman is actually way weaker than AM with respect to every aspect (utility, heling and dps) bit the difference is not big to warrant a real complaint imo. The problem is the divide with respect to other healing classes. Zeal/RP are must have for being well rounded while DoK/WP are mandatory for CoC/PoW. Shaman is only good for healing and even there it lags behind to both DoK and Zeal. I think that the new mechanic reported in some post earlier would really improve their (both sham and AM) healing output. I think that AM is in a good place for an utility PoV (are 24 moral pump, puddle with in debuff, aoe ap drain, blinding light m2 and othe stuff shared with shaman) while shaman could use a bit more utility, maybe with a focus on ap or aoe debuffs

There is nothing wrong with current mechanics

If they would balance healers instead of chain nerfing am/shmy we’d be good
1 puddle
2 racial tactics (am actually got a buff and M1 nerf)
3. Drain
4. Lifetaps on the move (yep eov/fotg was to strong with cdr we all know that)
5. Morale (shmy am actually got a buff)

There 0 reason to copy zele / rp booring mech or simplify mecy to a point where it is ignoreable

Shamans and am heal output is on par with zealot/rp so no need to buff there.
Their utilities and esp debuffs are pretty solid.
Yes, fix/redo the mechanic to be meanonfull, but overall healing output is pretty good .
Mostly harmless

You mean with CDR you can perform slightly below other heals while being much weaker when it comes to mitigating damage with absorbs/ armor / clns

I just hope that the people who claim that AM/Shaman bring the same value to a group as a Zeal/RP does, are not involved in the balancing process
AM / RP / Shaman / Zealot / WP / DoK

If you think that, I am not sure if you know what you are talking about. You cant compete against 1 / 1.5 second heals while AMs/sham are a second longer. EoV/fotdg did that, on the cost of survivability, compared to RP. Now that advantage is dimished, it is time to buff AM survivability, shaman has a non cd hot that redueces incoming damage by around 10%.

Am heal output is good enough, their problem is survivability and heal under pressure which rp do much better. But if you let am and rp free cast they are pretty close even without ww.
Am/shamans got best debuffs within healers.
25% heal increase is good as it is but am/shamans got pretty good healing stuff as well
Mostly harmless
