CS is mediocre right now a 15% would had do a 10% for all the investiment you have to do is underperforming, considering how much it takes either tactics or renown stack to increase that crit x the durability you loose is not an easy build to do.
Also there are no other good stuff on s+b you are forced to go cripple strike anyway in s+b or 2h because appart punt tactic there is nothing that is tied to s+b which is usefull.

in rvr order moral drop have the edge (all istant dmg much more accessible than you) in sc moral bump is gimping yourself.

If you dont have high rr you are stuck with either offensive gear or def gear and def spec cuz against ppl which take crit reduction CS became useless.
Also there is no way to apply it aoe (so increase chance to proc in 1 gcd on multiple target ) appart rending blade or wounds debuff.
So post nerf CS cant no more proc from backlash this mean you cant no more debuff rdps.
it got really hard balance

crit stack
avoidance stack
spend point for boost auras
crit reduction

all togheter

especially due the fact that CS requrie you to crit if it didnt requrei crit then it would had been a good tactic even at 10% of debuff.

it was 25% because the ammount of trade off it force upon your build is heavy, you are litteraly force to add 1 tactic+ arrive till rending blade or do a heavy renown spending review which kill build freedom, auras dont help since in any build you will always have 6 useless aura. Dosent matter what you do ch/kobs will have less avaiable skill than other classes because you cant use more than 3 auras at time.
So anytime you build the classes all your 5 pt mastery are like being empty because even if you take the skill then another 1 aura on the mastery will stay out of the selected 3 you will use.
Basically chosen have 2 build 1 around more or less morual bump and another one around more or less cripple strike with all the other things that which remain pretty the same thus nerfed both all the chosen build got nerfed.
The balance is a totall disaster on chosen right now. Pick BG any stat buff/debuff can be done by a BO he also will provide magical dmg reduction). No need for chosen now that his only 2 unique tools are nerfed to the ground.

Basicaly what chosen can do, super punt and dmg reduction BG can do ti avarange better with a better punt and a on demand crit reduction; can also bring a longer KD if s+b, it also have better panic buttons because oppresion have so many weakness is boring even think about it.

But what about the damage? aura cuts spiritual resistance, the main attacks cause spiritual damage. SM has 2 debuffs of resistance, they seem to have a good damege. Chosen has good damage?
Also there were rumors that the developers would do something with CH / KOTBS?
But it's somehow terrible, the main thing is always certain nerff (oh, the balance)

AoE spirit damage aura is just "fluff" damage in the grand scheme of things you can use it to pad your sc scoreboard damage numbers but in the grand scheme of things amounts to nothing really

BO and BG have much more noticeable effective damage and burst

For KOTBS and chosen the devs want to change the nature of how auras work, they are currently too effective for how easily they are applied
