Any one understadn the purpose of Mara sentinel fully mutated bonus ?

After finally getting fell redeye and doing my first BB/BE run today i got a look at the full set bonus for mara sentinel armor and im trying to understand the logic behind the fully mutated bonus
Why? When does a mara ever want to be unmutated, gift of release is the one thing you never want to touch, and the CD for switiching stances is only 5 seconds so what point does it serve to reduce the cool down by 20s?
