What gear for leveling BG

Would it be better to level using dps gear or tank gear or does it not really matter? Also, what gear is preferred for r40 RvR?

It really just depends on what role you want to play. Do you want to be more squish with higher dps numbers, or a turtle with a shield?

Like all tanks they do better specced for defense.
You either wanna spec em for melee dps support were you guard and assist melee dps classes using knockdown armor, wounds debuff as main tool to help mdps to kill their target. And exile to get rid of guarding tanks.

Or you wanna spec for outgoin healdebuff and selfsustained tanking. The later spec works better if your group consist of alot of rdps. and the first is all about supporting mdps. When guarding and assisting mdps you can go slightly dps-ier since you arn't really gonna get hit standing next to a mdps class. However you wanna foucs on block, parry and wounds before speccing into any kinda dps to deal with guard dmg.

when you can take mid toughness tactic, stack str and tough for pve grind st you can go forever in that set up if you exp solo.

best way is get a 3 man party and grind anyway
