[DOK] Nee d advice in healing

So basically i came back after break. I saw a huge nerfbat hitted DOK and tested in game i felt useless lol

basically this is the spec i aim to play once im max level

so:
Khaine's bounty: helped me many times especially when attacked ( a free shield is always welcome)
soul shielding is self explanatory...
vigor patching and blessings: enhance my pathetic heal/debuff output

in the mid tree i take the tactic to have a aoe detaunt which we lost, at least when melee atack me i got a detaunt aoe in hope to survive



my question is: our spells?

we got mostly HOT which are pathetic since the burst in this game is incredible ( i saw a 5k life tank going down in like 3 seconds this day in scenario lol) o are we useful somehow or we must go dps from now on?

anybody can suggest me playing attitude and how to be a good heal dok before i lose my hopes?

AoE detaunt tactic doesnt work with 1hand and chalice/book.

In case you're new... two weeks is and ongoing "joke" meaning that it will be released when it gets released. No eta- sometime in the future- a month a year a decade etc

Slot fueled actions or you are gonna have a bad time under any kind of pressure, same goes for khaine's refreshment. Group cleanse becomes kind of obsolete with the nerf during the super zergy battles that are normal these days, better just rely on M2, and take CW to avoid wasting M2 when you are taking pressure yourself.

If he doesn't top the healing charts in random sc by now, the new gear won't help much.
DOK are no single target healers, they shine when many people in your group get damage.
When not fighting a super evil gangsta premade, which happens once in a blue moon, you have good chances to regen essence with melee aoe heal strikes.

It's not like the healingtotal in SCs matters at all, you can heal fluff for days without actually saving the life of anyone. And DoKs only shine when many people in your group take non lethal damage, the second there is any pressure DoK is useless, and trying to regain essence after the initial 4-5 gcds you can get off is in most cases impossible if you try to do it with melee skills. And if you are able to get off melee skills without people dropping like flies, it's only because the opposition is bad or there is low pressure.

Its not a problem as in 'bugged' or anything, it is intentionally removed so we need to learn better positioning:D
There is a very long thread somewhere with a total explanation about it and the reasoning why on this forum.
