[WE] gearing

Hello guys,

my WE will soon get level 40 with RR around 50. I'm not quite sure if I want to build a defensive regen build (witchbrew+dots) or an offensive full damage build.

1. What is easier/faster to gear?

2. What would be my item progression for both paths(sets, weapons, jewelry)?

Hey,

I am not a WE but for my WH I got this set and I think it is good for WEs just as well due to insane amount of magical resistances. Mines are maxed up with this set:

I also hear that defensive WEs often go for Fleshrender rings due to life regen.

Ty - I think I go for vanq and beastlord to start out things and get those jewels. Fleshrender rings seem to be extremely expensive :P.

Yep, they cost alot but you can farm them with help of a couple of friends. I farmed a few for my WH but I did not like the idea of regen build. WEs have more tools though. Personally I envy you guys having Witchbrew defensive build.

What items and gearset should I aim for that - dominator/oppressor with beastlord as filler?

basing on some tests from my pov sth like this is best solution:

open -> heartseeker -> wracking pains -> pierce armor -> ruthless assault

what do U think?

the other options look like dot dmg we.

You must remember that big portion of WE dmg deepnds on proc. Kisses primarly if u are solo. To maximize it one need lots of AA. So fast dagger and a little of AA haste might help.

Second source is crit. Here can help you only renown and gear. Sorry WE under 70rr is ... not good.

To use RA one need high weapon skill. Buff from PA helps but u need also Bleeding Edge tactics.
