[Engineer] Suggest a grenade build

Not seen any real grenade builds on here so people post your builds, would appreciate it also if you include, renown point spending and priority stat allocation with in regards to talismans.

I run with something like this
Change armour tactic for AA one in wbs

renown in BS and DDefender till you hit rr40, then Range Crit and DDefender.

My stat priorities are BS > WS > crit. Once you hit rr45+ go crit > BS > WS.

BS talis, Deadeye + Avicenna epic weapons with WS talis in them.
RoR: Burszui SH, Ropopuch SHM<|[]|>Ginnar IB, Vidarr HMR, Runatyr RP ++ REV guild ++

no point really stacking WS if you using grenades as its all corporeal I believe?

Frag Grenade is normal damage instead of corp.

But yes WS is actually for Rifle builds.
But otherwise this looks solid.

I would maybe change the tactics a little. With Skirmisher instead of concussive mines as we have concussive mines in our WBs on snipers who can deploy them further with a Gunturret.

But the signal flare tactic is good.
Grenadier has some nice AoE things. But his strengh is mid range corp SIngle target damage.

In the other hand, if you see some healers or sorcs.

Put a concussive mine on their head which increases their casttimes, then a flashbang which interrupts their casts and you have stopped some group heals on the opponents group.

It is some kind of healdebuff/damagedebuff. That depends if you hit sorcs/magus or SH/zealot.

Some nice suggestions, as weaponskill has been suggested to be useful for grenades, what should i go for instead?

As NSKaneda suggests go for Crits in RR and BS.

Without the BS Tactics in this build you will not reach BS Softcap with Talis and Jewels.

WS gives me better armour penetration and high crits on nade ticks / rifleman skills in 'nade standard rotation. What's more with range tactic my 'nades and rifle skills have the same range so I can use them like SH dots in rotation and coordinate ticks ;)

As for tactics: I'm not at luxury of running with a regiment of Dawi and since Shatter Limbs nerf I feel engie can and should take over Slayer's role of applying GCD pressure.

One more thing: IMO soft cap is not needed in RoR as only now we're at luxury of getting actual T4 armour sets (conq). 800-900BS and 600-700WS is more than enough for high crits on mid-HP* people :)

Only one rifleman dot is physical, not really worth speccing WS just for that one DoT imo.

So i am confused, people have said that ws does not effect grenades because it corporeal damage, are you sure its a good idea to stack it?
