No one is saying this is the best thing ever, but is fun to mess around with,

For those who say AA is useless, you really need to look into rotation time stamping more. Getting a gauranteed AA after every snipe / gunblast and adding it to that follow up hipshot / ff does give a lot of damage on squishy targets.

If you go for a slower weapon like bloodfist a 3.0 or better it is actually really nice when you drop it to 2.0 to line up with gunblast, since slow means high base damage so 700+ crits is really do able on a we / sorc / sh / choppa ext.

The pew pew build of dropping it to ~1 sec is more for fire bomb spaming. Since you can do 800-900 on a firebomb with a 300-400 autoattack right after. That's pretty good and it plays more into proc builds if you got WP aura and BW buffs. This was actually a pretty popular build on early live. Used to be you would stack rifle / grenade dots, and then firebomb with the autoattacks and you would overwhelm with dozens of smaller hits and crits.

It fell out of use when dots got gutted, but dots tend to be better here, and if Lesti's stickybomb proposal ever gets implemented, it could work well.

Not everyone likes snipe, and people over use snipe builds a bit. There is something to be said about putting in dps faster, and being more aggressive in roaming rather than resigning yourself to being a tree or wall sniper.

When making the first tests on the dummies I thought AA was broken on them. But the speed is correct.

So stopping every two seconds in running after someone you get your AA out. Or hitting the flee button to get nearer and then stop every two seconds. As AA don't need AP.
