Did you tried warlord for 2h?I have only def sov, but detaunt looks so good even without +wounds bonus.
And who knows how many targets affected by warlord morale drain ability?

About full Bloodlord (7/7) + def weapon from cities - you prolly know it doents stack, but proc appear more often ofc.Isn't movespeed proc weapon better in this case?
Speed proc has it's benefits, but i prefer defensive when i need to stick around the bomb. Morale drain affects 3 targets, and with nerfed morale not really worth it.
I think warlord drain will be op in 6v6, sure not for wb enviroment.
Maybe any thoughts other endgame set combos for 2h just for more stat gain?Full bloodlord+wounds talis looks good on my BG, providing many offensive stats, but i think kotbs dont need any offensive stats besides parry strikethrough.

Reviving this old thread. Has anything changed?
Since the 7p bonus from Sov doesnt stack with Shield Rush, is it worth going for full Sov? We can achieve higher block by mixing set pieces.
The full set bonus ability (aoe snare) sounds quite usefull, but that means we're also going for the Jewel, which lowers our block even further.

Talking about snb for RvR/City, if it wasn't clear.

What are your thoughts?

If you are playing any Defensive Shield Tank, I don't see a world where Full Sov isn't BiS for every situation.

I don't rely on landing shield rush when face tanking warbands from a distance or trying to use it on melee that will most likely block/parry it. The full set bonus is a speed boost for everyone around your target friendly, which can be useful.

Can you elaborate please?

I wasn't aware not landing it doesn't grant you the buff. That's my bad.

Full Sov lets you turbo up to 24 people for 10 seconds every 2 minutes.

So your point is, Sov gives enough defensive stats to allow yourself to go for the bonus ability?

Sorry if I'm basically asking the same twice. I'm trying to understand the logic behind, rather than just going "tell me what to wear".

You're giving up like 2% block to give up to 24 people a lot of movement speed for 10 seconds.

One could go for 5p Sov and vader jewel + boots with block + belt with block. You would lack the 7p bonus from sov, but you'd make up for it with 6% block that stacks with Shield Rush. Yes, the passive bonus also gives parry and D/D, but I think in another thread we figured out that usefulness of parry goes down as block goes up.

Full Def Sov is considered BiS for SnB Knight. However, the Invader set is still quite good if you don't have full Sov. Sentinel Ring for the block talisman is good as well if you can keep your C/T runs consistent, or maybe you play ranked a lot. The 7p bonus is cute but I wish it was something more meaningful.
