Sounds like you need to find a good group of people to play with, tanking in pug WB's can be pretty rough, but a coordinated WB is pretty much built on the skill of its tanks and a good tank is always really appreciated.

personally if you want to tank, id strongly recommend you get yourself a set of conq gear, some parry / block jewellery (from AH, blue items from Gunbad + there's a tome unlock item for 2%). Go full pve spec with stamina gems (for 10k hp) and the run city dungeons for sent and then BS for bloodlord (which is your goal in all of this). BS is easily tanked first run might take a couple of hours, but once you get the gist of it, you can cap inf and get a full set of Bloodlord including a strong weapon in a week.

Did that on all my tanks and it allows you to go 2h spec where you'll have more fun running solo / SCs or small scale.

Takes a bit of confidence to just form up BS yourself with little experience, I remember the feeling when I first did it that I may be over my head, but it wasn't too bad and after personally setting up a good 30+ BS groups at this point, I'm glad I did because it makes Bloodlord feel super easy to get.

Ultimately the game feels better with gear and RR. Getting pve gear also allows you to save every medallion you get for when you get to 70+ for warlord / sent / vict. You can also run HV after that.

Also, Chosen in particular is awesome for solo roaming, here's a good starter spec for rr40:

When you hit rr50, you can spec you can pick up Oppressing Blows tactic and swap it in.

Oh, this blew up.

I play KOTBS much less now, mainly to help guildies tank dungeons.

Ironically (considering that many people suggested to find a group), playing in a group was one of the biggest reason, as WL immensely more useful in small scale roaming group.

Have you thought about joining a guild? Playing with players who can cooperate with your actions feels really good.
