Hey folks, looking for some more of that community wisdom to better inform my choices.
I'm thinking of getting a Warrior Priest kitted up with the (probably vain) hopes that WP will have some upgrades made to Wrath soon.
Here's my predicament— I currently already have a Warrior Priest from when I first started playing that's Career Rank 40, with some semi-decent milestones (Notably Wards), such as Beastlord, Winds Impervious, Partial Sentinel etc etc. However, when I first started playing I leveled that character almost exclusively via SCs and PVE, meaning it's RR 37 with 0 War Crests to speak of. Not to mention, I've completed the Epic Quest and I ended up selecting Faith for the Hammer as opposed to the other option that has the snare on hit.
As a result, I'm considering completely remaking the character and this time leveling exclusively via the RvR lakes and of note, attempting to achieve RR58 by the time I hit CR40. This will sort my Renown problem and ensure that I have a decent pile of War Crests at the end of it and allow me to retake the Epic Quest for the Snarehammer.
I'm curious as to whether or not the remake is going to be worthwhile though, as there's a lot of hurdles I'll have to overcome again and with the knowledge that my Pre-BIS is 6pc Bloodlord which has zero RR requirement, would I be better off simply achieving that on my exisiting character?
Thanks in advance for any feedback, advice or suggestions.
Cheers!

Use the existing one, Bloodlord as you said has no rr requirements, and there should be a hammer from city dungeons with a snare proc.
"Can we play with him, master? He seems so unhappy. Let us help him smile. Please? Or at least let us carve one on his face when he stops screaming."

I would take that wpn + quick escape from renown if you dont reroll. Only another way for Wp to get Armour Debuff is with 6 bloodlord pieces. So using this armour debuff proc wpn opens more possibilities but bloodlord is definetely very good set + 5% Dmg wpn is remarkably good.
3x Beastlord 2x Sentinel + Dominator Belt+Boots + Vale-Walker and Some combination that you feel is for you but 3x beastlord 2x senti is MUST HAVE as low lvl 2h Dps Wp. And having Full Vale-Walker/Senti/Bloodlord will give you very good options.
Edit; Oh so you have this Armour debuff Wpn but you consider reroll to get the 2h snare one ? Interesting choice! You can also get better version of these both wpns in City Dungeons so you have that 2h Snare wpn in epic quests and Senti instances. Quick Escape from renown highly recommend

I would reroll tbf. Nothing more frustrating then grinding out renown till 70+ and then have like ~5k crests not being able to buy anything significant. Not even mentioning a feeling of uselessness while you grind your renown to 60's... also being locked into book only, cause shield needs rr badly for avoidance and wrath is not plain working till 70+ and city gear.
According to my exp on your way to cr1-39 and rr1-50-60+ you will grind around 5-6k crests at least with required genesis on top.
So tl;dr - rerolling is just much less frustration and pretty much the same timewise. combat ranks are worthless and dont mean anything. plus alot of additional quests are done now that helps you with pots, crests and other stuff.

Just keep playing it, I leveled a WP to 40 rr40 as a healer, swapped to dps playing solo and never looked back. Hit 80 with all bis except for the ranked ring with no pve. Not easy but very doable and you actually feel yourself getting stronger as you go.

WP Wrath is very good now.
50ft aoe is best. One can outdamage any aoe melee easily. In sc its quite easy to get top dmg and top kills. Absolute aoe beast.

Hey all, thanks for your thoughts.
I think the resounding majority would agree it's better to simply go-on with my exisiting character, So I'll do just that.
Thanks again.
