[WL] BIS gear?

Hi all,

Just wondering if people that had full invader know which combination of sets is considered BIS for WL.

I recently got my 3rd piece of Vanquisher so I have:

3 Vanq
4 Beastlord
2 Conquerer
2 genesis

Of course this gives you 3 str set bonuses but is it better to get full vanquisher + BL?

Also is invader good for WL ,I have not seen invader stats for WL yet.

Full Invader [7th bonus] + 4 genesis are good if you run full hunter + PF [or ER] as a aoe WL in WB [still barely viable in wb since Sly/BW do much more dmg - but in good hands it has its place in WB].

Full invader + hunter path is only good on pve to kill mobs. You can make some good damage and steal some good kills on wbs, principally on keep or fort defenses, but not as good as sl, bws and engis do.

No, invader is not particularly good.

This pretty much, invader is pretty awful but I guess you could go 2 piece invader instead of sentinel if you don't want to PvE for best gear. Then again, the invader grind to get the jewel is much worse than running a few dungeons for BIS sentinel jewel+head.

If WL want a place in wb [not talking about pug wbs] the only reasonable choice [as bad as it still is] is full hunter. With 7th proc which effect as 35%+ crit you can do reasonable dmg [stil worse than any aoe dps] and your armor debuff is godly so you can punce + debuff and help nuke some particular targets [usefull when your wb is organised not running around like headless chickens].

I never said its good. But for wb/aoe purpose its best you can get there. Ufortunately WL is not much welcome in organised WBs [reason i stopped to play it, st solo player or 6 man cookie cutter doesnt rly interest me] and devs seems dont care about it. Aza changes to WL after some tweaks could be best thing that could happen to this class. It made solo WLs more balanced and also WB viable. Unfortunately they got almost insta reverted by torquetarda.

So we got now chopa, mara, sorc bomb squads vs slayer, bw squads... With WL handing around if lucky.
