Armor Pen stat not in Ranged tab only melee...why is this?

As far as what the stats window show WS does not affect any ranged or else would it not be in the ranged part aswell????

Ws affects ranged, but only physical ranged dmg = sh/sw/engi, not the magical dmg.

Really? because if you open the stats page for ranged is shows nothing about armor pen like it does for melee now if you swap tomes the armor pen ones do work on ranged.. so I think WS being a ranged stat is a misconception... or has been removed and people are still clinging to the idea that it affects.... why does it only show on the melee tab if it works for ranged aswell??

Because the original AoR devs saw no reason to show the same stat twice.

Target self > Type: .getstats and u will see all your stats. Dont trust AI

Oh someone on the discord literally sent him a screenshot of this showing it working, then he decided to ignore it and post a picture of AI saying the opposite

I have it barely changed anything. and you want to justify putting 300 pts in WS only to gain 50 extra damage nice joke. when there's melee gaining 500- 700 extra damage for same amount from armor pen theres a big r. Tanks are beyond broken in this game every tank class takes 5 dps to go down not 3 dps...... but 5+ is insane i dunno how they think this is good balance.

Always use .getstats to check stats

For example, IB has a tactic that increases corporeal resist by ~250 and an ability that increases it by ~370 temporarily. If you have 750 corp resist, then slot the tactic and use the ability, your paper doll tool tip will show … 750 corp resist.


When you use .getstats it will show 1370
