I'm not sure these could rightly be called bugs so much as oversights. In two different roll outs of gear changes, warrior priests have gotten some nonsensical gear itemization.
First, with the recent changes to cloak and ring class requirements, melee WP has no strength/wounds options. Enervating huntscloaks and Inquisition brooches specifically exclude warrior priest, despite the disciple of khaine version working properly. Instead, WP gets access to int/wounds gear along with AM and RP, despite having no use for int. (As a side note, WP also has a base int of 173, which does nothing for them, while they have base toughness and initiative of 74. Not sure if that's an oversight as well, just annoying.)
Then with the new Beastlord set, the itemization is split between melee and healing specs. Each piece gives willpower, wounds, and weaponskill. Not knowing which direction the set was meant to go in, I can't say which stat on the set is misallocated. If it's supposed to be a melee set, it should have strength rather than willpower, and if it's a healing set, it should have toughness or initiative rather than WS.

I've already explained the accessory changes several times, but I'll give it another go.Stmichael1989 wrote:I'm not sure these could rightly be called bugs so much as oversights. In two different roll outs of gear changes, warrior priests have gotten some nonsensical gear itemization.

Dok and WP are included in Meleedps accessories. They definitely have access to STR. They do not have access to Tank accessories.
Dok and WP are included in Healer accessories. Some RP/AM accessories have INT, you're not forced to wear it.
Beastlord is a hybrid set for WP and Dok. All the items have slots, boots/gloves/belt can be combo'd off another set. The 3/5/6pc procs are definitely intended for melee use, but it's not statistically a DPS set. Want to DPS? Get boots and gloves with a STR set bonus and drop STR talismans in the slots. Want to heal? Do that instead. The class is always going to make use of willpower in one way or another, it's not a terrible detriment to have it on melee gear, although I understand the desire to have your gains maximized for dps if that's what we flag the set as.

Well, you're half right.wargrimnir wrote: I've already explained the accessory changes several times, but I'll give it another go.

Two separate pieces on each side. DoK has access to melee stats, WP doesn't. The same is true of cloaks.
As for the Beastlord set being a hybrid set, that's fine, but strength is higher priority for lifetap healing than weaponskill. If you have no strength on your gear, the weaponskill isn't going to do much. Swapping the weaponskill out for strength would be preferable if that was the goal. The set bonuses might help with that, but because of the bug I can't see them, as I haven't acquired a piece yet.
