A lvl 16 has no group heal. Group heal is lvl 20. But good point anyway - group heal vs no group heal might be an issue in scenario groups. But so is rezz vs no rezz and direct heal vs no direct heal. T1 is mostly hots and single target direct heals.

That means we could expand t1 to at least lvl 19 without causing greater issues?

lvl 16 to 20-30 is anyway dead level range because most try to power level through that range.

It's the same in t1. You only have less abilities but everything can be changed. In Dark Age of Camelot they had a /level 20 command for new players to start immediatly at lvl 20. There could be a /level 5 or /level 10 command with some basic gear.

The difference between lvl 16 and lvl 40 is btw 24 and between lvl 3 and lvl 20 only 17.

But I dont see an issue here. It takes maybe 20-30 minutes from 1 to 5. Give lvl 1 players a complete starter gear and they are good to go.

What do you think about expanding T1 from 1-16 to 1-20 (chicken with 20)?

This would increase the T1 numbers by around 25% and lower the T2+ numbers by around 10%.

Do you see any reason why this should not be done? An overpowered ability or anything?

btw: having the t2 zones in the t1-t2 tier would be a great improvement. They were always fun to play and the for t2+ masses they are too small.

I like T1 and I would like it to have more people, but I dont think this is an answer.

20 is a big power spike as people have mention. Even 17, when you can get your first mastery tactic, is a big spike.

With a debolster or something to try to even it out, it may be ok. But it would lose the essence of what makes T1 different and kind of fun.

T1 is fun as is even with lower populations. Lock the larger T1 zones and you get battles again.

Never had problems leveling 100% with pvp in t1.
Dying is no option.

Nordland is good when the sided are close to even. When one side has AAO or at least a large AAO, it's by far the worst map.

My agenda:
1- release the wardogs (grimmir and torque) a few bans in forum and in game is always a good start;

2- if first measure don't have the best result, ill go for balance. Yes we need to change more this old game... my idea is same skills for both factions (only dif is the skin), and like the pug sc ;P 1 week is order skills other is destro...great idea no?? :)

3- if none of this 2 great ideas work ill blame the "king"
