MERGE: T1 + T2, T3 + T4

Hey there,

it is obious that the population is decreasing and that there is a critical mass, a certain amount of players, we need in order to make such game work and fun. Without enough players there are no scenario pops and the open rvr is slow, one-sided, boring. When this point is reached people start leaving.

I think we are at this point now. At least in T1. There are a lot of T1 only player like me who love to switch classes and have fast and easy fun. No need to level up, no grinding, no guild need, no group building, etc. That's why I love T1 so much. In scenarios you never know what you get and the open rvr battles where on a level that people said they never experienced such incredible fights before.

That being said, we need around 120 players shown as online in t1 to get the most fun. At the moment we are around the half at most times. On the other hand we have massive zergs going on in t2+ and player try to get through t2 fast because they know that a lvl 40 will eat them alive.

Wouldn't it be a great idea to merge t1 + t2 and t3 + t4? We should have a balanced population of 1/3 in t1+t2 to 2/3 of the total population in t3+t4 then. Atm it is more like 1/4 : 3/4 (t1 : t2+)

Merging T2-T4 was the best RvR related design decision the Devs ever made and a declining population reinforces that even more.

how about shifting the level ranges only slightly? like 1-24. t1 needs more players.

imagine a fight of a lv 20 vs lvl 3 in nordland . Now you know why this dosnt gonna happen.

btw: debolster for a certain lvl range could be an idea as well. Then a lvl 16 player can either join the t2+ range or stand and get debolstered until a certan level - let's say 24

T4 needs more players. Is there a solution which does not leech players out of the top bracket to prop up the short term population in the bottom bracket?

When you don't have enough players in t4 with hundreds of players online then the problem might be another one. In this case people might be sick of getting farmed right in front of their warcamps or because people switch to the other side just to get lock xp, etc.

A dead t1 wont help either with the population. New players who are trying the game would get bored way too fast and leave again. You need a healthy t1 to keep this game alive.

Merging zone is not the root of the decreasing population. Releasing new gear is the root. I also feel boring with everyday hit keep or SC without anything rewards. Game need new changes for running. And ROR is not doing good at this point.
And I get less online for WAR too just really dont know hit for what that I already 83 and no RR point gain from it and no gear rewards at all
