Log every morning for some fun, 1 wb of order in every bo waiting for rushing the keep... no fight , log off.
Log at evening for some pvp action , destro outnumbered and order zergs around waiting for rushing the keep...no fight, log off.
ALERT SPOILER HERE:
-rushing the keeps without opposittion= order best geared>destro in minority= destro xrealming or leaving the game
-order totally geared but without people to kill
-Pvdoor is here and real pvpers run away scared

Order generally have always had better coverage during the day, thats probably because they have more consistant experienced leaders at this time... and it usually snowballs from there... hard for that to be countered unless destro had similar.
they get little renown for this style of play, maybe they grind gear though due to amount of zone locks / rng of contri... but its boring and even if they do get better gear it won't make that much of a difference, as power creep isn't broken in this game yet.
The main issue, as always is critical mass, even fully organised warband's alone will have issues with critical mass due to the aoe cap/limit of abilities... and this is part of the problem, because when the enemy outnumbers you so greatly, they have more attacks than you, you have alot less people, so you soak up all their attacks, while your attacks back at them get spread too much through the sheer mass/weight/bodies of people they bring. If Aoe Cap was increased, then people would cry bloody murder about optimized groups rolling over bigger numbers due to co-ordination... but as it stands it will always favour the side with more "mass/numbers" that's just how it is and i don't expect it to change.
When you have two strong fully organised warband's together, then the critical mass they can take on goes up enormously, because the amount they can absorb and dish out is higher... so zerg / pug assist will be more spread and will need more than 1 spam, and organised will be more direct... but you need alot of manpower / co-ordination to get to this level.
Then the other issue is when people meet resistance, they usually log off or fight avoid... if they can't run it over with sheer numbers. It's just how it is. Too many like to easy mode and zerg ride(both sides do it) as you said its not that much fun, but its just player mentality issue/conditioning... minimum effort maximum reward, I prefer our maximum effort even if it means we get minimum reward you did not contribute enough for this zone despite reverting AAO, being in party and warband for top kills... and then capturing zone just because enemy log off... here is your zero bag of contribution thanks Wam
(I get more reward for pug play/afk on bo/random few kills here and there lal than 6 hours of leading organised raid) because that gear is not the be all and end all or vast improvement. Fights is what its about and over come challenges.
But I wouldn't worry so much about the gear side, conq+ is good enough to beat anyone... its mostly about teamwork and critical mass.
If you know your outnumbered, you should resort to guerilla warfare tactics and try use terrain to your advantage
Back on main issue of numbers, order only recently got numbers boost for primetime somedays... because we swapped sides to help them as they lack full organised wb's... as casual forces ragequit when facing organised forces too fast and it becomes boring, and destro was overstacked with organised forces. They also got numbers boost because release of new gear so people want to farm that, they also got numbers boost because of double xp event... but it ebb's and flows both sides... It's only been a couple of weeks and I see massive QQ from destro... where order had endured alot lot longer with less QQ in my opinion, in a couple of months sure why not QQ a little, but 1-2 week man o man
Order had to endure Porn Factory, Phalanx, TUP, Gdy, King Ocara, NRM and much much more... and destro whine after 1-2 week
It is what it is, momentum can shift... if TUP & NRM are on destro i know which way momentum is going to shift eventually... I am pretty confident in that and look forward to the challenge of it being broken, if TUP go order, NRM destro... then there is alot more variables in zone and anything can happen for either side. I would like for order to bring big numbers and NRM not to scare them off before we start
or else we will have to fill in again, we will see what scout reports say.
Make a gank team if you are outnumbered at off peak times and bait people, if you can't meet their numbers directly.
