WB is garbage, even with the decreased icd.
It's still a proc, no crit, no stat contribution whatsoever and you need to have it ready when you come out of the stealth wich makes is garbage in roaming situations and very predictable in grp environment.


No matter what, WH/WE is still one of the more balanced match-ups in RoR.

There is no imbalance in group play and in a duel, the WH has a slight edge but usually it comes down to who has the jump first and manages his CC/timing better.

The AA buffs you mention look better on paper than in action.

BAL being cleanseable is no argument, when there are plenty debuffs to cover it. This hard hitting dot in combination with Torment spam results in huge pressure.

WB is not for solo gank spec, as it only shines, when there is more than 1 target.

And yes marauder is stronger than WL but apart from that destro melee are outclassed across the board. So even if WE is stronger than Wh as you claim nothing should be done about it.

I don't know what are the ROR developer's stand but I know what was Mythic's stand on this:

Classes are not supposed to be an exact mirror of each other.
Balance is not done regarding solo play, but rather on group play

This is why PbAoE from Bright Wizards and other DPS were nerfed around late 2009. Not because they were strong individually, but because a 6 man bomb group would wipe a warband by popping out the door for a second and dropping everyone near it.

Alot of this is grass is greener and subjective and we are talking small edges over the mirror with slightly different utilities that people perceive as better. All of the classea u say get 1 upped still do very well although maybe not in 6 man.

how about;

-unnerfing Frenzied Mayhem
-removing the weird ICD placed on Kiss (should be 0 like WHs - to justify fast daggers not 1)
-restoring some of the AoE spec so class is not fish out water in Fort + PvE dungeons and might one day become warband viable
-actually making WB into deadly finisher not memetier extra proc
-maybe trade BAL to SS, so you be amazed at how much better one is than the other
-giving WE offhand weapon with armor debuff like WH
-giving WE 2 different subju weapons like WH for more proc potential


While WH-WE difference is not as gigantic as between some other mirrors, some of the differences are pretty absurd.
But maybe when the day comes that WE becomes viable for warband action and gets an actually useful finisher like BAL, maybe then WH can get also extra cookies?
