The newer gear such dominator/conqueror and above when salvaged always give purple or still goes with random chance to get purple?

so i salvaged vanquisher and i got blue mats, so whats the deal here they are still purple random or is a bug? or maybe is blue only when salvaging for resistence mats ? does any know if invader give purple with 100% chance?

From what I’ve been told from most players is that resistance talis only come in blue at the highest tier currently. Even if you salvage vanq + gear for any resistance tali you will only get blue quality. I can say on my end that I have only got purple talis for vanq + when I salvage for stats such as str and tou.
