You can get a nerf to Choppa Pull when Embrace the Winds is mirrored to Focused Mending (Which now has no counter in Destro) and either Rampage is nerfed or is mirrored to Choppa.

But guess what, those things are never gonna happen. Deal with it.

No BO ever asked for it to be mirrored. It appeared out of nowhere during one of Aza's balancing rampages. First it got changed to elemental debuff (which broke the entirety of Destro warband play), then Red Frenzy attack speed + attack damage became a thing and was considered too good for 6v6 (This was before You Wot?!! days) and then it got changed to Chop Fasta/SM mirror.
They done stole my character's names. Can't have **** in RoR.

Quick fix to this:

-Put the same barriers that are in Fort Jails in the City, if those barriers are put in the city you won't be pulled or damaged.

Its not the barriers in forts that does that, Its the code about being jailed. It blocks you from getting pulled amongst other things.

Still salty about changes to BO and as pointed out it wasn’t at least openly.

Considering how poor BOs really perform in ranked/small scale and with chop fasta in mind it would be reasonable to look at restoring SnB / snare / morale on block BO. Limit AOE snare to X targets would have been the right decision and letting CF remain the SM weak mirror of CD decrease.

So can this code be applied to city spawn area?
Dying is no option.

The change was some like september 17 or thereabout, after some months of debates how to improve BO warband spec. Having lose their AoE snare (maybe as a way to make BG a better alternative snare provider? who knows), they were low on utility, and generally there was somewhat limited purpose of bringing more than 1-2 BORKs into WB to provide the occasional corp debuff. Just stack Chosens, get all auras out, lesser effort.
So the mess starts with back then torque deciding that SM cd reducer WW, will be mirrored to BORK. As result, Choppa, with a 2min cd 20s cd reducer gets shafted, and torque eventually manages to enforce a minimum of 5s cd on Sorc Infernal Wave, removing the old cheese of Choppa+Sorc synergy where you bring a choppa to WB so Sorc can spam IW without cooldown for 20s.
So now with some side buffs to bork boosting AA dmg, then AA haste at some point as well, the result is Bork being closer or equal to Chosen. BG still remains mystery pick despite BO losing their AoE snare for warband purposes, and BORK utility stack makes it a solid pick. But Choppa is then "patched out" from having a real purpose in WB, since their 2min CD on the Chop Fasta does not compare to BORK 20s cd reducer that mirrors SM cooldown reducer. Ironically enough, Slayer also suffers a bit because Destro now can provide better effective cover vs slayer shatter limbs cd increaser. So as a probably unintended side result, Slayer + Choppa losing somewhat relatively, Sorc+BW become ever higher priority picks for warband slots.
Well some patching later, SL+Chop less bad and somewhat okay, apart from the few overperforming things like Rampage and whole Choppa identity being based around GTDC pulling - their whole AoE tree needs rework to have the class make sense at some point.

and yeah, as mentioned elsewhere, all pulls go through barrier, just like on live. Mara requires direct LOS same as WL, so they should not, engi + magus + choppa no target requirement.

Having an AoE pull that is unavoidable and can be cast without needing to build up rage is OP bullshit and always will be. Choppa pull was the first nail in the coffin of balance and MSH plus xrealm locked finished the job of making sure dest is just a constant OP blob while Order has 200% aao.
Brynnoth Goldenbeard (40/80) (IB) -- Rundin Fireheart (40/50) (RP) -- Ungrinn (40/40) (Engi)-- Bramm Bloodaxe (40/83) (Slayer) and a few Empire characters here or there, maybe even an elf.

Mmmm, sounds like is not thay easy. What about putting double barrier with a separation wide enough between both to not allow players hit each others?

That is very hard to achieve in destro spawn in IC stages 1 and 2.

But it has a requirement. You need rage and the skill will consume it. I really like the idea of restricting GtdC to furious or berserk and consuming your rage. I think that would balance the thing out.
