Hey everyone!

I used to play back in the day (Still have my collectors edition box on the shelf hehe) and back then i played a Warrior Priest..
Found out about this server a week ago and have been playing since then.. I Decided to play Destruction this time around and tried all the classes exept the tanks. Finally i have settled on the Zealot.. I want to try to play the DPS version of it and now im looking for more experienced players who can give me some pointers on what to focus on, How to build, what to avoid and yeah.. basicly that xD Im focusing on PvP so dont really care about whats good in PVE.

Anyone have a guide to link or just some pro tips to share?

Pure ZDPS isn't really a thing unfortunately :/ you CAN dish out SOME damage, but zealot and runepriest both suffer from a pretty heavy ap usage. I don't know all the intricacies of the class, only 34 on mine, but they can bring some decent utility; silence, heal debuff, knockback etc. If you like running it as damage, go for it, but don't shy away from healing people when needed, sometimes it's way better to sacrifice some damage in order to save a teammate and get objectives done. I like to play mine as damage and utility myself, but if the team is lacking on healing, I'll just leave harbinger off and put divine fury in the bin lol Gearing is pretty easy as well because of harbinger, all your damage stats are turned healing when off, and vice versa when on.
All three mastery trees are both damage and healing, there's a career builder in the websites menu, and respecs are cheap in game, play with them to see which style you like, Direct, over time, or AoE. Welcome back to WAR!

Only thing you really bring as a DPS Zealot is some utility. Sadly other classes can do that utility and better. Your DPS even in full DPS spec is sub par compared to the other options. If you really want to play a DPS healer then I'd recommend going DoK or Shaman. Zealots just don't pull it off as well as these two do.
