Command to stop gun turret from shooting

Hey guys,

I have found that in some specific situations, i need a command to stop my gun from shooting, immediately.
E.g i spot a Choppa, i shoot him and so does my gun turret. The guy suddenly notices me and charges to attack me. I put a min in his face and he gets staggered.
The problem is that my gun will wake him up from early stagger or even from barbed wire.
In the hotkey settings for pets i have found "pet stay" but it does not work on the turrets.
This is a very important aspect imo for engi outplay potential. Otherwise, mine is kind of useless in a 1v1 situation, especially.
Is there something that does this? a macro maybe?
