Either
A. It doesn't exist and its all random (which is an awful idea).
or
B. Its busted.

30+ KBs and most dmg pulled for a stage and dead last in cont.... makes sense.

I've had top DPS and gotten 22nd contribution. It's random.

Am I the only one that sees that as an awful idea? The whole point of the roll after contribution assignments is to give low earners a chance at a top spot/bag....

So it should be based off numbers alone in your opinion? Rip tanks

Fort Contribution works. Tanks get bags all the time. Guarding a dps that puts in work gives contribution etc. So no, it's not only about the numbers but it shouldnt be completely random.

I think if the contrib system can be reliably gamed you'll have people ignoring objectives and the team needs to chase more dmg ect for a higher chance at bag rolls. For organized WBs it probably won't be a problem but I can definitely see it upsetting a lot of people in a more pug setting. After all you'll probably make out with more crests from 3 good bag rolls then actually winning

While its random, contrib feels completely and utterly broken for healers.

One of the biggest issues I've noticed is the incentive for pugs (you'll always get them unless you're in a 24 premade) to go burn objects to add to their contribution (whether or not it actually adds to contribution, I don't know for certain.. Always heard conflicting opinions every time I ask anyone), and literally afk for the rest of the city instance.. Especially if your group loses the first engagement.

So you end up with a very unsatisfying city instance, where a quarter or more of your team is either afk or running around burning objects (which completely goes against the idea of 'contributing' to the match)..

And the big kick in the teeth is when those people, who aren't actually contributing, are rewarded for not taking part.
