Why is it if you punt someone a certain distance over the abyss that you get sucked into it and die too? It works half-assed and a barrier would just be a better solution if it was that big of a problem tbh.

Theres only a chance you will be sucked in, too. It's a gamble with the shadowy figure that the eternal citadel is.
