WH - AP Tactic Suggestion

WEs have a tactic called Baneful Touch which adds 15 APs to your AP pool whenever you attack an enemy from the side or rear (this is not a leech/drain from the target). For PvE and extended PvP fights (e.g. ranked/cities), this tactic is invaluable. Further, given the oppressiveness of AP drain from various classes, rotating to Baneful Touch on a WE makes good sense on many occasion. WHs do not have a tactic that gives them similar uptime and the class, in certain situations, would benefit from having it as an option. The WH also has 1 less class tactic than a WE to begin with, so this aligns them a bit better without pushing one much farther than the other. Thanks for your time.

Edit 10/24: if it helps you sleep at night, know that the difference between almost all other mDPS and the WH is that almost all other mDPS have either a tactic that provides AP or offsets AP costs of abilities mid-fight. If you need to "remove" the WE comparison, do so and you'll come to a better conclusion. (e.g., Slaughter - Slayer, Replenishing Strikes - aSW, Easy Killin - Choppa, I Feelz Yer Pain - mSH, Subvert Strength - Mara, and WE per previous mention).

You shouldn't be having problems with AP on Order side because Refreshing Radiance from Warrior Priests, and Ancestor's Blessing, especially when paired with Master Rune of Adamant Fury are very strong AP pumps. But I agree that WH should get the mirror to Baneful Touch because every mdps class should have a tactic for AP regeneration.

Depends on your comp, so you will have AP problems depending on your comp. You can't always select your comp, that much is obvious.

For your comp AP doesn't really matter since 4 WHs jumping a target will only take 2 GCDs even if nothing crits lol

That requirement is higher and not really inline with what other mDPS get. Slaughter/Easy Killin' reduce AP costs while Furious/Berserk by 5/10 AP, Marauders get Subvert Strength which procs on crit with an internal CD, WEs Baneful Touch restores AP when you hit from the sides or rear. WLs don't get anything and need it the most with their absurd AP costs.

I agree. Though not important in solo roaming, AP regen tactic would be extremely beneficial in City’s, SCs, ranked and 6v6 fights.

WHs don’t have the best burst(WL), best sustain(SL), best debuffs (Mara) so being able to actually use some type of ability is pretty important.

An AP increase on hit would be bare minimum.
But could so do a smaller ap drain on hit with internal cd to make WH more useful in 6v6. (Might be too op tho)
Honestly too many to count
