i think to keep the 160 one stat baseline, the worthless single resistance tactics should be reworked.

Not going with the simple minded opinions here...
Those tactics are somewhat stupid and kinda dumb. Brute Force for example is quite mandatory for most melee (hurrdurrfinallyremoverampage) throughout most part of the game.
Removing them would be a good idea, but it needs to tune other things into the right direction, e.g. removing/adjusting stuff like reflexes/deft defender from the reknown builder. (Blasphemy! )
Those buffs you get from skills atleast need some kind of interaction, activate the skill, hit a target, defend a spell etc., but those tactics are just there and that's it.
Btw, some people seem to have forgotten that the Chosen/kotbs auras originally had a mechanic too (12 second rotation). It was RoR that changed it from the halfbraindead mechanic to the completely braindead mechanic and I'm still not a fan of it.
So would it be a good thing to remove them?
Yes, but you'll also need to change a lot of other stuff in the game as a consequence.

you know what would actually be cool? have us choose which of the 160 tactics we would like to use. if every class had the option to use any 160 stat tactic, this would increase build variety by a lot
