aye i was very disliking seeing this Ram on the map when i got back worst change ever.. i can live with no fashion looks... but that siege on maps needs to go..

I don’t know how the devs thought showing the ram on the map was a good idea when ppl even seeing how many ppl are in a zone via SoR had broken the game in their opinion?

Obviously the same ppl that sit and watch zone pop all day are going to sit there and watch for a ram and cheese accordingly.

Also Order is nerfed hard these days to the point of ORvR being unplayable.

There is a new "defensive reward bag roll" if you defend keep, at least 1 door has been taken down, and your realm manages to either stop lord kill or stall defence until doors are repaired. This gives you an additional roll for zone bags after a "keep defence win".

This has resulted in behaviour where 100-200 Order will prefer to sit and defend a keep, just in case Destro knocks 1 door down (resulting in obvious funnel-to-win spam of glorious order rdps) and a chance of keep defence win. It doesn't matter if Destro has 20 or 200 AAO, Order will not engage in open. Then someone sees a ram on map and everyone suicide charges at it or there is a massive zergrush to defend a keep.
Destro is locking zones with 5stars while having 20-100 AAO and Order will not fight unless they have some famous pugzergleader gathering 2-3 warbands at one spot.

There might be 100-200 people on both sides in a zone and you cannot see a single fight market location on map because people literally just sit inside keeps or run supply boxes while dodging any possible fight, ranking up their cityfight dodge levels.

ok ok ok . im in DW. destro has 80% AOO advantage... no siege.. they all go BFP because some destro is siegeing there. so ALL leave to go get a bag.. wtf is this ****..

The main reason why Order has been defensive is because Destro had 60-70% continuous population for a few months, it's only this week that it has evened out a bit.

Plus all zones are swarmed with OP roaming Shammy and SH so Order solo roam is dead, with WL and SW nerfed.

VII, PnP and WOM are about the only guilds who go out alone, the rest mostly Zerg.

Yep, this.

And it's not JUST 5 starring a zone. A zone will filp, we will move to the next zone and.......the Dest keep is already at 2 stars while Order Keep is at 0. So yes, Dest love running boxes for that PvE RR.

It is nearly always an uphill battle to get Order keeps to 2 stars to siege.

The population is currently at 42:58 Destro at the time of writing. With 731 people online in t4, if everyone were in the lakes that means 307 are Order, vs 428 Destro. That's 5 warbands worth of players Destro has on Order at this time, assuming everyone were in the lakes, which we know they're not because you can't compete in an open field when that outnumbered.

The only place you can fight back is, surprise, siege funneling. The issue then becomes that Destro knows they can't break the funnel, so they rush to take an empty zone where they can prevent Order from getting into the keep to funnel due to the new respawn mechanics. Rinse and repeat. Order does the same thing when they outnumber Destro.

AAO is not an incentive on this server anymore. The reward for the insane extra effort of killing someone in a massive zerg with AAO is piss in the rain compared to killing keep lords and flipping a zone, or wiping 307 people repeatedly with little effort. RvR has devolved into catching the ass end of the zerg because the zerg never turns around. One realm also has an advantage to catching that ass end.

Roaming is also dead because there's no incentive. There are more rewards and contribution to be had by following the zerg. It's also dominated by one side at this time for reasons everyone knows but refuses to admit and instead defends those reasons. For the rest, it's again a matter of the rewards not reflecting the effort. Most only do it long enough to get enough contribution for a bag roll.

Most of Order like Forts because, surprise again, you can actually do something while funneling besides get run over by the zerg and spend 90% of the time running or dying. They also have the advantage due to having a higher population of rDPS.

Most of Order don't like cities, and actively avoid and don't even queue because Destro has the advantage due to having a higher mDPS population, and a wider array of viable warband classes.

All in all, people are getting bored of the current situation, and both sides are starting to learn the fastest, easiest way to get the most rewards while at the same time denying the other side rewards.

Horrible change and I don't understand how it was not reverted after 1 hour of actual gameplay... it totally killed orvr action as people either wait for the rams to get spawned and sit afk, then once the ram spawned both sides immediately blob around it and nowhere else, zero tactical consideration left... this also means who can blob around the ram more wins automatically and then gotta wait 10 mins to spawn a new one. It's so lame gameplay that its hard to believe thats actually happening.
because most ppl care not of orvr they just farm renown for going later in ranked
