Another round of Q&A, great! I'm always happy to hear from our benevolent world-creating overlords ;)
My few questions are as follows:

  • When will alternative appearances be visible to all factions again?
    Spoiler:
    Poll results show that those are not an issue for majority of playerbase and having visual variation really enhances game experience. Not to mention fashionhammer as a true incentive to actually go out into the world, to explore pve content, it's PQs and quests. "Performance" argument has been refuted in the weeks that followed this arbitrary change. When will it be reverted?

  • What's the timeline for new dungeons?
    I understand that there are more pressing matters and making such a complex encounters takes a lot of work (mob pathing, difficulty reworks and so on). However new dungeon (Hunter's Vale or maybe even Lost Vale) has been teased for end of 2020 / beginning of 2021. Can you give rough ETA for it (other than "two weeks™ " ;) )?
  • Could you please elaborate on campaign simplification?
    Ram visible to all factions across whole pairing might be too much for veteran players and not enough for new ones. What are your reasons for implementing this and what other campaign simplifications do you have in store?
  • Are there any plans for city rework?
    With city siege being bottlenecked right now and people having more chances of getting city pop as solo player rather than party premade is certainly player based issue - do you have any plans to remedy that? If yes, what are those plans?
  • Royal weapons
    Those have been hinted for some time and while power creep and gear balancing is rather delicate thing I'd like to know what are your plans for these weapons? Will they be more in line with scenario weapons (crit + *power) or rvr weapons (crit + stats)? Will there be new currency for those or will these weapons be tied to ranked scenarios to make RS more appealing to general player base?
  • Balancing council & balancing process
    Secrets mentioned in his little order side Q&A plans for having "balancing council" - i.e. having realm captains and class leaders having a say in planned balancing changes. What are those plans and what's the timeline for those?

    On the other hand we hear that "this is not a democracy" and game changes are arbitrary. Could you please shed some light on balancing process and your thoughts behind it (giving class-specific skills like pounce to more classes being the most prominent one)?
  • New assets
    We have a lot of talented people in the community who shared their designs for game assets on forums. Do you have any means and plans to implement those into the game?

In order to fight unbalance on order vs destro, (sometimes 40/60 )

1)

A good idea could be to allow 1 time per semester to reroll a char of your choice on the other faction, the gm makes you the SAME level with the SAME talisman / Same stuff/ same RR etc...
Just a switch of class. Automatic process. Limited to 1 times per semester.

This may "boost" people to go to faction that need the most help, while seeing some cool stuff on other faction + stop thinking that X class is broken or green is greener there



2)
Could you "motivate" people to play on a faction that is far more lower numbered like Xp x2 RR x2 etc ...

The problem is that, even if we KNOW and WANT to change faction because we feel that they need help, we could dont want to restart from start a character / be lazy (took too much time to level/grind token etc)... then -> dont change faction -> problem stay the same -> order may leave/give up -> situation worst -> order may leave/give up -> situation worst

3)

Royal Weapons : When ?
Why did you nerf the guard for 2 handed making tank tanking less while wanting putting royal weapon on the game ? It means that the gap will be ever higher

4)
ok we have answered the Poll you gave us, but why no feedback ??
If we dont have feedback, it will show us that is useless, it leads to a situation that people will not answer them anymore

I have two questions, dear devs :)

1. now that alternative appearance has become an alternative: can we please make more customization options? I think of toggle-able shoulder appearance, different weapon type skins, cross class armor pieces etc.

2. There's been some changes to morales that increased the TTK(raze/bellow swap), at the same time some morale damage nerf and even No Escape (knight m3aoe root) has been nerfed in both it's CC AND damage as a result of morale damage not stacking.

So my second question is; how do you think the morales should work in this game? More focus on damage, CC or a weak effect of both? One of those need to be stronger imo.

Can you do something about forcing people to actually FIGHT in the lakes and not just rush 2star and siege.
Sieging is probably the most boring part of the game no matter the side, is there a way to make BOs more important or anything else at all just to force people to be out on the map and fight?

Q. While balance changes are subjective, and direct participation/survey/polls from the players will cause chaos, will the developers increase balance transparency by publically stating the classes they, and the people they listen to, play, updated on a monthly basis?

They don't have to list out the name of their characters, nor disclose who plays what. Just a total number of classes the decision makers are playing at different RR brackets would suffice in increasing transparency a long way.

Q1:
Mirroring Classes
For me, what makes this game awesome, is that there are no mirrorclasses. Some feel pretty close(RP/Zealot)
but in general everyone has unique abilitys, tactics and Moral.
For the last years plenty of unique skills and tactis have been mirrored to the opposit realm.

Where are we going with this mirroring?


Q2:
Armor Pots & Talisman
Any thoughts on removing Armor Talis &/or Pots from the game?
So a tank would be a tank and a squishi would be a squishy
Could bring more diversity, like removing resolut defence etc.

Middle tier rvr making a comeback. The population may be still low but as proven in BC this morning less than a warband was able to lock the zone. There is no need for multiple warbands in every zone. 16 to 39 would be ideal would make of an impact on t4 as most of the are 80 to 90 percent 40.

1. Increscent population imbalance, xrealming, purposefully reduced FPS by some abilities. Are there more plans to reduce these issues please?

2. There are control mechanics in the game (punts,..), which do not trigger appropriate immunities. Are there any plans to fix them please? (choppa pull, squig bounce, ..)

3. Shaman and Archmage. One has several abilities to kite and survive, the other not much. Do you plan any changes for the Archmage please?

4. Sorcerer and Bright Wizard. Their morale abilities are even now but one can self debuff his own type of damage, the other cannot. Do you plan any changes here please?

1.) Can I get Pirate Kaptin hat for my mighty orc choppa? (cosmetic) :mrgreen:
2.) Is there any plans to add more world drop content and new appearances we currently don't have this year?
3.) Are you going to open new areas or zones for players to explore, example eastern side of the death peak (Smoke Rock and Ebon Steppes)
