It's Central European time Altdorf(Switzerland), Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Viena, etc are the same time zone, which server time is based on.

We started using Altdorf-time in Bitterstone Thunderers for the exact same reason. After a while it spread out over the server as the devs back in the day started using it as well.

Won't find it elsewhere. It's a RoR thing now!

Altdorftime is used because some webpages show CET even if it is CEST. Meaning GMT+1 or GMT+2 it is depending if we are on the Offsethour or not. This has lead to the confusion of Events as some players logged on an hour earlier or after the event has started.

By asking google the time in Altdorf you will have the correct offsethour that is currently on the server and the pages usually will show you your current time to it.

Meaning gmt+2 will help you nothing in 6 months. ;)
