Mythic made these changes towards end of the games life and this server picked up that endgame as a model where it is more freeform just go into instance, pvp and get out. Everyone for themselves basically.
Did you even play DAOC, or Warhammer on live ? you stating that Mythic made these changes at the end, to somehow suggest that they didn't mind people Xrealming, and thought it was Beneficial to the game.

DAOC, as well as Warhammer, had one faction per server, only when the game was down to one server Badlands, did they allow both factions on the same server, and then they added an 8 hour lockout.

Even DAOC free shard Phoenix has an IP lockout , of one account per computer, per household, and has a lockout to prevent playing one faction, and jumping to the other side.

If anything they need to increase it to a 4, or 5 hour lockout, so you have to pick a side to play for while you are on that day. and the people saying they are jumping sides to help the low population side, after Zerging them for hours to push city, on the high population side, is laughable at best

If you truly wanted to help the low population side, you`d stay on the low population side, to you know actually help, not just swap after zerging them just to gear up alts, on the losing side, or for faster ques lol.

And you tell to me did you play Warhammer Online when it was live, did you? All the way through, right? You remember how they plain out removed forts completely so when you just locked 2 zones it was city time. And the city model was exactly the same type it is here. You had to actually in the long lost rvr type of warhammer, win that **** city as a realm or no one on your realm even got a chance for warlord / sov. So yes, compared to that it sure as hell was nothing resembling an rvr game during the late days. Like no one cared.

Of course. Just jump on the winning side for a "less boring experience" and then trivialize their bad behaviour. I mean, if you can jump to the winning side when convenient then everyone wins right? Right?
