SW's whirling pin should only be available on assault stance

leap back with a 40% aoe snare every 30 seconds is IMO way too much for a _ranged_ class on anything beyond 1v1. Not only the aoe slow is incredilbly useful offensively, but both the leap back and the slow makes it extremely hard to catch without way way overextending, while they can continue putting consistent damage.
On a melee it's understandable but on a ranged class its way too much. They should be working with their positioning not with a triple get out of jail for free on 30s cd.

You can remove the snare or ask a healer to cleanse it.
Overextending would mean moving too far away from your tanks and healers, like you have mentioned, don't do it.
Dying is no option.

Why are you complaining about whirling pin when SH has the same spell called Sticky Squigz + 3 escape abilities more than the SW?

How does a self knockback make more sense on a melee over a ranged class/spec? Seems a bit backwards to me. Whirling Pin is fine as it is, in my opinion.

Just no.

Oh wait, wait. You inspired me with a new design proposal. I propose this change instead:
  • Whirling Pin + Scout stance: Work as working at the moment: Snare + Backward jump
  • Whirling Pin + Assault stance: Work as an AoE pull + snare. Only 3 random targets can be impacted like Choppa's GTDC
  • Whirling Pin + Skirmish stance: Work as a directional Cone AoE push back + snare.
  • Whirling Pin + VoN: increase the area of effect by 10ft
Deal?

AoR: SW R87, BW/R60+, SM/40+, AM/R50+, WL/R60+, Slayer R40+, DoK/SH/Sorcerer R40+ (+others)
