6. Next things are a little bit more advanced, but worth it. READ what the people say in your warband, they give informations you may need.
Amazing how many Order in orvr and scens refuse utterly to read chat, a few even said reading chat 'was pve and lame and to be avoided'

The basics of warfare speed of movement and Communication

Communication: the basics of MMo since EQ 1999 the Granddaddy of all MMO, you read chat and responded to chat, (it's also basic manners if you've been brought up correctly)

id also add to OP's list Rez people next to you,
look for deads who need rezzing, look at your wb frames and try to target and rez dead ppl
look in chat channels for ppl x up for rez and try target and find and rez them if it is nearby, again basics of mmo READING chat, Order seen pretty shocking at rezzing ppl, you can even have 6 healers stood on 2 people for 3mins and never rez.
as a dps AM i rez more ppl when im not even In the wb than the wb pug healers.

But reading zone chat also a major issue, amount of times 2 or 3 of us say 25 destro inc bottom! need help bottom in 30 sec!, and no1 moves cept 2 guys out of 60, then when destro is wiping them
they are screaming 2mins too late bottom overran bottom wiped!!!, and the 2 or 3 pp said we told u 3mins ago, and u either get ppl saying 'we dont read chat' or they put u on ignore for DARING to spot something 3mins before they did and having the temerity to try to inform 60 people to help the faction out of a possible bad spot.

read chat and rez people.

'Swords In The Wind!"

The Mel.

Yes, that's Warband Lead Helper. Definitely improves communication within the warband and the zone.

Just a word of warning, autoband automatically prioritises 2/2/2 over having a heal in every party, so with 4 heals it will put them in 2 groups and make two suicide squads in the remaining two ones. So, while I understand it makes leading easier, do be mindful of this and check whether you don't need to manually spread healers. If you really don't want to deal with it you will probably find a few players who don't want to lead but are perfectly fine with group juggling, especially if they are left with no healer otherwise.
Also remember different classes need healers more or less desperately, if by chance you end up with less than 3 healers in a warband
RoR doesnt deserve being taken seriously.

Great post and points made.

To add a couple of things:

1. Please dont chase the 6 man. They are actually a mortal threat to our pugalicious wb and you are trying to corner them with less than a party near by? Gl see ya in the WC. A huge amount of time is wasted trying to disentangle a open wb from an engagement it cant hope to finish 90% of the time. These guys are up for kiting to Altdorf so just leave it and if after 10 seconds of chasing you havent really done anything to the target, go back to your lead.

2. To leads and joiners. Try to keep the wb going. People who play together and experience combat together will pick up on habits and movements. Even if its only a small increase in efficiency in a pug, that is still important to have. It is also easier to get the needed 222 over time and when the zones switch due to other pugs collapsing. Try to gather a core of people and attempt to play in 2/3 zones depending on the time scale of each zone and you will see your effectiveness go up as people get into a rhythm.

3. Leads, Be nice. Seriously, this will help you immensely leading a pug wb. Make your wb like you and understand that you are out for their best interests and they will work harder to make it happen. It can be very frustrating having people scatter and run off after solos or any of the other wonderful stuff you see each day in rvr but there is literally no point trying to start the 4th reich in your pug wb. Please, thank you, good job etc along with simple clear directions will be all you need and people will even thank you for your time. You must maintain discipline of course but this is just one battle and the game will go on other days so having a personal connection or warmer feeling will help u gather and lead people. Also you are going to make mistakes, we all do. Hell earlier I threw the BV keep, it happens. Having a good working relationship with your wb will help smooth over such events and keep them coming back for another try.
